Ty\u00f6kykyyn vaikuttavat tekij\u00e4t opettajien kokemina sek\u00e4 vuosina 2012\u20132017 valmistuneiden opettajien kokemuk-sia ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n siirtymisest\u00e4 ja koulutuksista saaduista valmiuksista. Liikuntatieteellinen tiedekunta, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopisto, liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu \u2013tutkielma, 92 s, ja 11 liitett\u00e4.\r\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 millaisiksi vuosina 2012\u00ac\u20132017 valmistuneet liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajat kokevat koulutuksestaan saamansa valmiudet ja miten ne vastaavat ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 tarvittuja taitoja sek\u00e4 miten odotukset ty\u00f6st\u00e4 olivat kohdanneet todellisuutta siirrytt\u00e4ess\u00e4 ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkittiin liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajien ty\u00f6kyky\u00e4 ja siihen vaikuttavia tekij\u00f6it\u00e4.\r\nTutkimuksen kohderyhm\u00e4n muodostivat Suomen liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajat. Otannassa k\u00e4y-tettiin Liikunnan ja terveystiedon opettajat ry:n (Liito) j\u00e4senrekisteri\u00e4 ja tutkimus toteutettiin yhdess\u00e4 Liito ry:n ja Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston kanssa. Kysely l\u00e4hetettiin 1374:lle liikunnan- ja terveystiedon opet-tajalle, joiden oletettiin olevan t\u00f6iss\u00e4. Kyselyyn vastasi yhteens\u00e4 240 henkil\u00f6\u00e4, joista naisia oli 65 % (156) ja miehi\u00e4 35 % (84). Vastausprosentiksi muodostui 17,5 %. Tutkimus toteutettiin s\u00e4hk\u00f6isen\u00e4 webropol-kyselyn\u00e4, joka koostui strukturoiduista ja avoimista kysymyksist\u00e4. Arviointiasteikkoina strukturoiduissa kysymyksiss\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin sek\u00e4 viisi- ett\u00e4 kymmenportaista asteikkoa riippuen kysy-myksest\u00e4. Kysely ker\u00e4ttiin 3.5.2017\u20135.6.2017 v\u00e4lisen\u00e4 aikana ja se l\u00e4hetettiin yhteens\u00e4 nelj\u00e4 kertaa. Aineistoa analysoitiin sek\u00e4 kvalitatiivisesti ett\u00e4 kvantitatiivisesti. Kvantitatiivisina p\u00e4\u00e4analyysimene-telmin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytettiin t-testi\u00e4 ja yksisuuntaista varianssianalyysi\u00e4. Aineiston kuvaamiseen k\u00e4ytettiin frek-venssej\u00e4, keskiarvoja ja \u2013hajontoja. Luotettavuutta tutkittiin Cronbachin alfa-kertoimella.\r\nTulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 vuosina 2012\u20132017 valmistuneet liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajat olivat saaneet koulutuksesta parhaat valmiudet liikunnanopetukseen, sen suunnitteluun sek\u00e4 laji- ja motori-siin taitoihin. Heikoimmat valmiudet oli saatu luokanvalvontaan ja oppilashuoltoon sek\u00e4 hallinnolli-siin teht\u00e4viin. Opettajien odotukset ty\u00f6el\u00e4m\u00e4st\u00e4 n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyiv\u00e4t my\u00f6s todellisuutta kauniimpina tutki-muksessa. Kaikkien liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajien ty\u00f6kyky oli hyv\u00e4, eik\u00e4 sukupuolella ollut tilastollista merkityst\u00e4 koettuun ty\u00f6kykyyn. Vuosina 2012\u20132017 valmistuneet opettajat kokivat fyysi-sen ty\u00f6kykyns\u00e4 tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti paremmaksi kuin ennen vuotta 2012 valmistuneet opettajat. Tuki- ja liikuntaelinsairaudet olivat yleisimpi\u00e4 liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajilla ilmenevist\u00e4 vam-moista. Liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajien ty\u00f6kyky\u00e4 eniten kuormittavat t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen mu-kaan itse ty\u00f6n sis\u00e4lt\u00f6 sek\u00e4 v\u00e4lineiden ja tilojen puute. Toisaalta ty\u00f6n sis\u00e4lt\u00f6 ja ty\u00f6yhteis\u00f6 olivat ty\u00f6ky-ky\u00e4 eniten edist\u00e4v\u00e4t tekij\u00e4t.\r\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimusten tulosten perusteella voidaan todeta liikunnan- ja terveystiedonopettajien olevan ty\u00f6kykyisi\u00e4, mutta k\u00e4rsiv\u00e4n usein fyysisist\u00e4 vammoista. Faculty of Sport & Health Sciences, University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Master's Thesis, 92 pp, and 11 appendices.\r\nThe purpose of this study was to find out how physical and health education teachers who graduated between 2012 and 2017 experience the skills they have acquired from the training and how they match the skills required by the job and how the expectations of the work had realized during the transition. Work ability and the factors influencing it among physical and health education teachers were also studied.\r\nThe target group of the research was comprised of Finnish sports and health education teachers. Sam-pling was based on the members of the Association of Physical and Health Educators in Finland (Liito) and the research was carried out jointly with the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 and LIITO ry. The questionnaire was sent to 1374 physical and health education teachers who were assumed to be work-ing. The questionnaire was answered by a total of 240 people, of whom 65% (156) were women and 35% (84) were men. The response rate was 17.5%. The research was carried out as an electronic Webropol questionnaire consisting of structured and open questions. As a scale of assessment, struc-tured questions used either a five or a ten scale scales depending on the question. The survey was con-ducted between May 3, 2017 and June 5, 2017 and was sent out four times in total. The material was analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The quantitative main methods used were the inde-pendent t-test and the one-way variance analysis. Frequencies, averages and diffractions were used to describe the material. Reliability was determined using Cronbach\u2019s alfa factor.\r\nThe results showed that the physical and health education teachers graduating from 2012 to 2017 had the best skills in physical education teaching, its preparation and in motor skills. The weakest abilities obtained were for classroom attendance, student care and administrative duties. Our research showed that teachers\u2019 expectations of working life seemed more beautiful than that in reality. All of the physi-cal and health education teachers had a good working ability. Gender did not have any statistical sig-nificance for the ability to work. Teachers who had graduated in 2012-2017 experienced a statistically significant better physical work ability compared to those who graduated before 2012. Musculoskele-tal disorders were the most commonly occurring injuries to physical and health education teachers. Ths study showed that the biggest burden to physical and health education teachers is both a combina-tion of the job itself and the lack of tools and facilities. On the other hand, work content and work community were the most encouraging factors for working ability.\r\nBased on the results of these studies, physical and health education teachers\u2019 work ability is high, but they often suffer from physical disabilities.
