T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena on tutkia, miten digitalisaatio ja digitaaliset kanavat ovat vaikuttaneet kuluttajak\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen, miten ne ovat muuttaneet kuluttajan ostoprosessia sek\u00e4 miten digitalisaatio on muovannut perinteisi\u00e4 markkinointikeinoja. Tutkielma toteutettiin kirjallisuuskatsauksena. Tutkielmassa k\u00e4sitell\u00e4\u00e4n digitalisaatiota markkinoinnin n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta ja vertaillaan kuluttajien sek\u00e4 yritysten tapaa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 digitaalisia kanavia ostoprosessin eri vaiheissa. Tutkimustuloksena todetaan digitalisaation vaikuttaneen ostok\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen muutokseen tarjoamalla uusia kanavia kuluttajien hy\u00f6dynnett\u00e4v\u00e4ksi. Kuluttajan ostoprosessissa k\u00e4yd\u00e4\u00e4n edelleen l\u00e4pi samat vaiheet, mutta digitaalisten kanavien avulla prosessia pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n nopeuttamaan tarjoamalla eri palveluita prosessin eri vaiheisiin. As consumer behavior changes, corporate marketing strategies have to change in attempt to stay in competition with customers. The purpose of this thesis is to study how digitalization and digital channels have influenced consumer behavior, how they have changed the consumer\u2019s buying process and how digitalization has shaped traditional marketing methods. The thesis was carried out as a literature review. The thesis deals with digitalization from the marketing point of view and compares the way consumers and businesses use digital channels at various stages in the buying process. As a research result, digitalization has affected the change in buying behavior by offering new channels for consumers to exploit. The buying process of the consumer continues to go through the same stages but digital channels are used to speed up the process by offering different services to different stages of the process.
