| Yhteenveto: | Sosiaalinen media tarjoaa helpon ja nopean tavan kommunikoida ihmisten
välillä. Tästä syystä tietoturva ja yksityisyys ovat hyvin ajankohtaisia, koska
sosiaalinen media käsittelee suurta määrää henkilökohtaista tietoa. Tutkielman
tavoitteena oli nostaa esille yleisimpiä tietoturvauhkia ja syitä miksi yksityisyyttä
näissä palveluissa täytyisi parantaa. Käyttäjät antavat vapaaehtoisesti suuria määriä
henkilökohtaista tietoa palveluihin, mikä korostaa sitä että palveluiden täytyisi
löytää uusia ratkaisuja tämän tiedon varjelemiseen.
Social media provides an easy and a quick way to communicate with
people. For this reason, security and privacy are playing an important role since
social media deals with a huge amount of personal information. The aim of this study
was to highlight the most common security issues and reasons why privacy in
these services should be improved. Users voluntarily provide large amounts of personal
information to services, underlining the point that the service needs to find
new solutions to preserve the data.
