Kilpailumenestyksen ja suoritusanalyysin kannalta merkitt\u00e4vimm\u00e4t tekij\u00e4t ja avainindikaattorit ovat t\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen mukaan levytangon vertikaali- ja kokonaisteho suhteutettuna kehonpainoon (p=0,005 ja p=0,009) sek\u00e4 kokonaisvoima (p=0,007). Lis\u00e4ksi mitalistien levytangon nostokorkeus on keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 7,5 % alempana (p<0,001) ja vastaanotto tapahtuu keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 15,8 % pienemm\u00e4ll\u00e4 lantion nivelkulmalla (p<0,001) verrattuna ei-mitalisteihin. T\u00e4m\u00e4n osalta voidaan vahvistaa teoria lantion nivelkulmanopeuden hidastumisesta kuorman kasvaessa. Harjoittelututkimuksen perusteella klusteriharjoitus parantaa dynaamisia voimantuotto-ominaisuuksia, oletettavasti Post Activation Potentation -ilmi\u00f6n seurauksena.\r\n\r\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan yleisesti todeta, ett\u00e4 tempauksen veto- ja vastaanottovaiheen biomekaaniset perushaasteet ovat kuorman nostaminen mahdollisimman vertikaalisti noin 0,8\u20130,9 metrin korkeuteen ja sy\u00f6ksyminen levytangon alle noin 0,3\u20130,4 sekunnissa k\u00e4det lukittuina vastaanottamaan kuorma ennen sen tippumista. Kilpailumenestyksen kanssa korreloivat vahvasti vetovaiheen mekaaninen teho ja voima. Vetovaiheen onnistuminen vaatii yksil\u00f6n voimantuoton kannalta optimaalista nostorytmi\u00e4, jossa kineettisen ketjun periaatteet toteutuvat. Vastaanottovaiheen onnistuminen vaatii ketteryytt\u00e4 ja tasapainoa erityisesti syv\u00e4ss\u00e4 kyykyss\u00e4, jossa alaraajojen nivelkulmat ovat pienet. Nostotekniikan harjoittelussa tulee huomioida yksil\u00f6n ruumiinrakenne sek\u00e4 toiminnalliset ja fysiologiset ominaisuudet. Teknologia voi my\u00f6s lis\u00e4t\u00e4 harjoittelun mielekkyytt\u00e4, nopeuttaa kehityst\u00e4 sek\u00e4 luoda tarvittavaa kilpailuetua.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The objectives of this study are 1) to study and determine the correlations in barbell dynamics and joint angles that are the most critical for success in competitions 2) test, develop and validate an affordable performance analysis model which enables effortless analysis of lifting technique and barbell-dynamic variables in training and competitive settings by almost anyone 3) execute a case study for Varala Sports Institute about cluster training and its acute effects on the performance and lifting technique of a top weightlifter.\r\n\r\nIn the competition segment of the study, the lifters were divided into two categories, medalists (N=46) and non-medalists (N=56), which were compared in the statistical analysis. The study indicates that the most significant factors for competitiveness are the vertical and overall power of the barbell, normalized to the lifter's bodyweight (p=0.005 and p=0.009), and total force (p=0.007). In comparison to the other competitors, the medalists lifted the barbell on average 7.2% lower (p<0.001) and their hip joint angle was on average 15.8% smaller (p<0.001) in the catch phase. Good agility and balance, therefore, are essential for any weightlifter in order to succeed in competitions. It was also observed in the study that the medalists\u2019 hip joint angle extension was on average 10,1% slower than in the non-medalists. This observation confirms the theory of the correlation between decrease of the hip joint angular velocity and increase of load. Based on the training study, cluster training improves dynamic force production properties, presumably by causing a phenomenon known as Post Activation Potentation.\r\n\r\nBased on the study, it can be concluded that the basic biomechanical challenges of the pull and catch phases of the snatch are the vertical pulling of the load explosively to approximately 0.8\u20130.9 meters\u2019 height and squatting under the barbell in roughly 0.3\u20130.4 seconds, maintaining the arms fully extended in order to receive the load. High competition results correlate strongly with pulling-phase mechanical power and force production rate. A successful pull phase requires a lifting rhythm that is optimal for the lifter's force production and follows the principles of the kinetic chain. A successful catch phase requires agility and balance, mainly due to the small lower-body joint angles. Lift technique training should be accommodated to the individual's physique and functional and physiological characteristics. \u2018There are no short cuts\u2019 and \u2018without quantity there can not be quality\u2019 are principles that characterize the systematic approach to weightlifting training and which can be recommended based on the results. For long-term physical performance development, however, experimenting with different training methods is recommended from time to time while mainly applying the principles of the Russian and Bulgarian schools of training as well as cluster training methods.
