Korrelaatio ei kuitenkaan ole yksiselitteinen ja p\u00e4tee ainoastaan rajoitetussa\npainealueessa.\nVetyplasman molekylaarisen emission Lyman-vy\u00f6n spektrin ja suihkun korrelaation\ntarkastelusta huomattiin, ett\u00e4 elektronisen perustilan vibronisten viritystilojen\n10 ja 11 tuoton suhde korkeampien viritystilojen tuottoon on olennainen negatiivisten\nvetyionien tuoton kannalta. H\u2013 -ionien tuotantoprosessissa on useita pullonkauloja,\nmutta kyseisten viritystilojen tuotto ei vaikuttaisi olevan dominoiva tekij\u00e4.\nLis\u00e4ksi tarkastellaan H2-molekyylin elektronisen eksitaation j\u00e4lkeist\u00e4 vibronisen\ntilan elinaikaa. Still, the correlation is not absolute\nand is valid only with selected ion source pressure.\nWhen correlation between Lyman band spectrum of molecular hydrogen plasma\nand ion beam intensity was studied, it was found that high production of electronic\nground state vibronic states 10 and 11, when compared to production of higher\nvibronic states, play a crucial role in the production of negative hydrogen ions.\nProduction process of H\u2013 ions includes multiple bottlenecks and therefore production\nof these vibronic states probably is not a dominant factor.\nIn addition lifetime of vibronic state of H2 molecule after electronic state excitation\nwas studied. This was done by comparing two assumptions. According to first, the\nvibronic state has a long time to relax and the second postulates that the excited\nstate decays immediately so the nucleus have no time to move.
