T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa asiakasdatan ker\u00e4\u00e4misen keinot on\r\njaettu kahteen p\u00e4\u00e4osaan: perinteisiin ja digitaalisiin keinoihin. Erilaisia keinoja\r\nasiakasdatan ker\u00e4\u00e4miseksi on paljon ja olisikin hyv\u00e4 tiedostaa, ett\u00e4 erilaisista\r\nkanavista on mahdollista saavuttaa erilaista dataa. Asiakasdatan ker\u00e4\u00e4misen\r\nmy\u00f6t\u00e4 on mahdollista muodostaa informaatiota ja my\u00f6hemmin tiet\u00e4myst\u00e4. Tiet\u00e4myksen\r\nkautta yrityksell\u00e4 on paremmat edellytykset syvemp\u00e4\u00e4n asiakasymm\u00e4rrykseen,\r\norganisatoriseen oppimiseen sek\u00e4 muutoksen tarpeen aikaisempaan\r\nhuomaamiseen. N\u00e4m\u00e4 ovat osaltaan my\u00f6s t\u00e4rkeit\u00e4 tekij\u00f6it\u00e4 liiketoiminnan\r\njoustavuuden rakentumisessa. Ohjelmistoyritykset lukeutuvat teknologia-alan\r\nyrityksiin, joiden tapauksissa toiminnan joustavuuden on todettu olevan erityisen\r\nt\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4, sill\u00e4 tuotteet, tuotantoprosessit sek\u00e4 kilpailulliset rajat ovat jatkuvassa\r\nmuutoksessa. Joustavuus onkin yht\u00e4 merkityksellist\u00e4 niin pienille Startup\r\n\u2013henkisille firmoille kuin my\u00f6s suurille ohjelmistoalan yrityksille.\r\nKirjallisuuskatsauksen perusteella empiiriselle tutkimukselle luotiin viitekehys,\r\njonka perusteella m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisen tutkimuksen tuloksia l\u00e4hdettiin analysoimaan.\r\nKysely l\u00e4hetettiin 2000 yritykselle lokakuussa 2015. Hyv\u00e4ksyttyj\u00e4 vastauksia\r\nsaatiin 215 kappaletta. Kyselyn tulosten perusteella yritykset ovat alkaneet\r\nker\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n asiakasdataa monipuolisemmin vuosien 2013 ja 2015 v\u00e4lill\u00e4.\r\nSuosituin kanava on edelleen asiakasdatan ker\u00e4\u00e4minen suoraan asiakkailta,\r\nerityisesti haastattelemalla, mutta my\u00f6s digitaaliset kanavat ovat nostaneet suosiotaan.\r\nJoillakin asiakasdatan ker\u00e4\u00e4misen kanavilla havaittiin olevan yhteys\r\nyrityksen liiketoiminnan joustavuuteen, joskaan osa kanavista ei juurikaan\r\nn\u00e4ytt\u00e4nyt vaikuttavan joustavuuteen.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "Collecting customer data is important when companies are trying to increase\r\ntheir customer knowledge. The aim of this thesis is to research the channels to\r\ncollect customer data, business flexibility and whether these two factors affect\r\neach other in the context of Finnish software companies. In this thesis the ways\r\nto collect customer data are divided into two main categories, digital and traditional.\r\nThere are several ways to collect customer data and it is important to\r\nrealize, that using different channels will create different kind of customer data.\r\nBy collecting customer data it is possible to gain customer information and later\r\nadvance it into customer knowledge. By gaining customer information it is\r\nmore possible to advance it into deeper customer knowledge, organizational\r\nlearning and to be able to observe the need of change. These factors are also important\r\nparts of business flexibility. Software companies are counted into technology\r\nfirms who especially need to be flexible in their operation. This is because\r\nthe products, development processes and the limits of competition are\r\nunder constant change. Flexibility is just as important to small Start up- firms as\r\nit is to bigger software companies.\r\nThe theoretical framework was created based on the literature review,\r\nwhich was used to analyse the results of the quantitative research. The questionnaire\r\nwas sent to 2000 Finish software companies in October 2015. 215 acceptable\r\nanswers were returned. The answers gotten from the questionnaire\r\nshows, that companies have started to collect customer data more diverse after\r\n2013. Still the most popular way to collect customer data is straight from customers\r\nespecially by interviews.
