Tutkimusten tuloksia on ollut tarkoitus hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4\u00e4 kemiallisissa synteeseiss\u00e4, joissa j\u00e4ljitell\u00e4\u00e4n C-klusterin rakennetta. Haasteena on ollut tuloksien tulkinta ja tutkimusdatan yhdist\u00e4minen yhten\u00e4iseksi kokonaisuudeksi.\r\nJoidenkin molekyylien tiedet\u00e4\u00e4n est\u00e4v\u00e4n entsyymin (CODH) katalyyttista aktiivisuutta.
