Digitalisaatio sek\u00e4 muuttaa perinteist\u00e4 kuluttajak\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen mallia ett\u00e4 luo kuluttajille uusia mahdollisuuksia uusien tuotteiden ja ostoymp\u00e4rist\u00f6jen muodossa. Tutkimus on toteutettu kirjallisuuskatsauksena ja tutkimuksessa selvitet\u00e4\u00e4n saatavilla olevan materiaalin pohjalta, ett\u00e4 mit\u00e4 digitalisaatiosta ja sen vaikutuksesta kuluttajak\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen on kirjoitettu. Digitalisaatio m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4\u00e4n eri l\u00e4hteiss\u00e4 eri tavoin, mutta yhteenvetona voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 digitalisaatio pit\u00e4\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00e4\u00e4n teknologian lis\u00e4\u00e4ntyneen k\u00e4yt\u00f6n, sosioteknisen muutoksen sek\u00e4 tuotteiden, palveluiden ja prosessien digitalisoinnin eli aiemmin analogisten asioiden muuttamisen digitaaliseen muotoon. Kuluttajat ovat siirtyneet digitaaliseen kaupank\u00e4yntiymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6n matalien hintojen, k\u00e4yt\u00f6n helppouden, laajan tuotevalikoiman ja helposti saatavilla olevan tuotetiedon vuoksi. My\u00f6s yritykset n\u00e4kev\u00e4t digitalisaatiossa etuja, sill\u00e4 entist\u00e4 laajempi asiakaskunta on helpommin saavutettavissa suhteessa pienemmin kustannuksin. Digitalisaation seurauksena perinteiset kivijalkakaupat ovat alkaneet siirty\u00e4 myym\u00e4\u00e4n tuotteitaan verkkokauppoihin, mutta digitalisaatio on mahdollistanut my\u00f6s uudenlaisia tuotteita: digitaaliset sis\u00e4ll\u00f6t. Digitalization as a phenomenon is one of the largest contributors in people\u2019s everyday lives at the beginning of the 21th century, as it also changes the way people act as consumers. Digitalization both changes the traditional consumer behaviour model and enables new possible forms of products and shopping environments to consumers. The study is made as a literature review. The pur-pose of the study was to find out what have been written about digitalization and how it impacts on consumer behavior. Digitalization is usually defined dif-ferent ways in different sources but it can be said that digitalization includes for example increased use of technology and digitizing of goods and processes. Consumers have transferred to a digital marketing environment because of low trading prices, easy usement, wide range of products and easily accessible product information. Also enterprises see the benefits of the digitalization, be-cause it is easier to achieve even wider customer base in relation to a lower cost. As a result of the digitalization traditional stores have begun to transfer to sell their products in online stores, but the digitalization has also enabled new kinds of products: the digital content. However, the market for digital content en-compass its own challenges, such as piracy.
