Keskeist\u00e4 oli perehty\u00e4\r\noppilaiden perusteluihin siit\u00e4, pit\u00e4isik\u00f6 heid\u00e4n mielest\u00e4\u00e4n liikunnanopetus toteuttaa\r\nsekaryhmiss\u00e4 vai erillisryhmiss\u00e4 (tytt\u00f6- tai poikaryhmiss\u00e4) ja miksi.\r\nTutkimusmenetelm\u00e4n\u00e4 k\u00e4ytin kysely\u00e4, joka sis\u00e4lsi sek\u00e4 suljettuja ett\u00e4 avoimia kysymyksi\u00e4.\r\nKohderyhm\u00e4n\u00e4 olivat kolmen yl\u00e4koulun oppilaat Turusta, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4st\u00e4 ja Sievist\u00e4. Jokaisesta\r\nkoulusta valitsin yhden luokan jokaiselta luokka-asteelta (7\u22129). Tutkittavia oli yhteens\u00e4 177,\r\njoista 89 tytt\u00f6\u00e4 ja 88 poikaa.\r\nAineiston analysoinnissa k\u00e4ytin sek\u00e4 laadullisia ett\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llisi\u00e4 menetelmi\u00e4. Aineisto oli\r\nnormaalisti jakautunut ja jatkuvia muuttujia analysoin tilastollisin menetelmin SPSStilastoanalyysiohjelman\r\navulla. K\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4 olivat suorat jakaumat (frekvenssej\u00e4 ja prosentteja),\r\nristiintaulukot (khi-neli\u00f6testein), korrelaatiot (Pearsonin tulomomenttikorrelaatio ja\r\netakertoimet) sek\u00e4 keskiarvotestit (t-testi, varianssianalyysi). Kyselylomakkeen avoimet\r\nkysymykset k\u00e4sittelin teemoittelemalla.\r\nLiikuntatunnit her\u00e4tt\u00e4v\u00e4t oppilaissa monenlaisia tunteita ja oppilaat ja heid\u00e4n tarpeensa ovat\r\nerilaisia. Liikunnanopetuksen opetusryhmist\u00e4 oppilaat olivatkin montaa mielt\u00e4.\r\nSekaryhmi\u00e4 toivottiin erillisopetuksen rinnalle tuomaan vaihtelua ja monipuolisuutta tunteihin.\r\nMy\u00f6s uusien kaverien saaminen ja itsens\u00e4 haastaminen mainittiin. Sekaryhmi\u00e4 vastustettiin\r\ntasoerojen, fyysisyyden ja paineiden takia. Pojat (47%) kannattivat erillisryhmi\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n kuin\r\ntyt\u00f6t (41%). Tyt\u00f6ist\u00e4 enemmist\u00f6 (47%) kannatti sek\u00e4 sekaryhmiss\u00e4 ett\u00e4 erillisryhmiss\u00e4\r\nopiskelua vaikkakin tyt\u00f6t kokivat enemm\u00e4n paineita sekaryhmiss\u00e4. Spearmanin\r\nj\u00e4rjestyskorrelaatiokertoin osoitti, ett\u00e4 liikuntanumero korreloi vahvasti kaikkiin muuttujiin\r\npositiivisesti. Korkean liikuntanumeron omaavat oppilaat suhtautuvat sekaryhm\u00e4opetukseen ja\r\nkoululiikuntaan my\u00f6nteisemmin. Ristiintaulukointi osoitti, ett\u00e4 tytt\u00f6jen liikuntanumerolla on\r\nselke\u00e4 yhteys siihen millaisessa ryhm\u00e4ss\u00e4 he haluavat opiskella. The primary goal was to examine how different\r\nbackground like age, gender, physical education grade, opinion about PE, physical activity and\r\nexperiences about gender mixed groups are related to the opinion. The main idea was to\r\nexamine what kind of groups the student would like to study physical education and why.\r\nIn this study, questionnaire was used as a research method. The questionnaire included both\r\nopen and closed questions. The study was conducted in three different secondary school in\r\nFinland, Turku, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 and Sievi. There were 177 students in the target group, 89 girls and\r\n88 boys from 7th to 9th grade.\r\nData was analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Data was normally\r\ndistributed, so parametric tests were used to analyze the data. Open questions were analyzed\r\nusing thematising.\r\nFrom the results of the study it can be concluded that students want to study physical education\r\nin both gender mixed and separate groups. Students who have negative opinion about PE, low\r\nfree time sport activity and low PE grade more often want to study in separate groups. Students\r\nwith high free time sport activity and high PE grade want more often to study in mixed groups.\r\nThe main reasons for separate groups were the differences with the skills and physicality.
