Teemahaastattelujen avulla ker\u00e4tty aineisto analysoitiin k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en teoriaohjaavaa, kvalitatiivista sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4. Tutkimuksen teoreettisena viitekehyksen\u00e4 toimi mukailtu versio Crossanin ja Apaydinin luomasta, organisaation innovatiivisuutta kuvaavasta mallista, joka k\u00e4sitt\u00e4\u00e4 sek\u00e4 innovatiivisuuteen vaikuttavat tekij\u00e4t ett\u00e4 innovaation ulottuvuudet.\r\n \r\nTutkimuksen tulokset osoittivat innovatiivisuuden n\u00e4kyvyyden olevan organisaatiossa ep\u00e4tasaista. Innovatiivisuutta koskevaa keskustelua leimasi kriittisyys sek\u00e4 ep\u00e4kohtiin keskittyminen. Innovatiivisuuden p\u00e4\u00e4asialliseksi merkitykseksi organisaatiossa koettiin ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6n muutoksessa mukana pysyminen, omassa ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 innovatiivisuus toimi ensisijaisesti ty\u00f6motivaatiota yll\u00e4pit\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 tekij\u00e4n\u00e4. Esimiesten ja organisaation johdon arvioitiin suhtautuvan innovatiivisuuteen enimm\u00e4kseen positiivisesti, mutta poikkeaviakin mielipiteit\u00e4 nousi esiin. \r\n\r\nOrganisaation rakenteellisten tekij\u00f6iden, resurssien riitt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6myyden, organisaation k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6iss\u00e4 ilmenevien puutteiden, ihmisten negatiivisen suhtautumisen ja muutosvastarinnan koettiin est\u00e4v\u00e4n innovatiivisuutta. Kannustava ja luottamuksellinen ilmapiiri, kokonaisvaltainen hyvinvointi ja positiivinen asenne puolestaan n\u00e4htiin innovatiivisuutta edist\u00e4vin\u00e4 seikkoina. Organisaatiossa oli tunnistettavissa kahdenlaisia innovatiivisuuteen yhteydess\u00e4 olevia johtajuusk\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6j\u00e4: yhteistoiminnallista ongelmanratkaisua sek\u00e4 asiantuntijuuteen luottamista. \r\n\r\nMik\u00e4li innovatiivisuutta halutaan kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 kohdeorganisaatiossa, tulisi jatkossa panostaa muun muassa innovatiivisuuden huomioivaan palkitsemisj\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4n, aloitteiden tekemisen helpottamiseen, ideoiden toteuttamisen tehostamiseen ja hyv\u00e4\u00e4n muutosjohtamiseen.
