Erityisesti perehdyn siihen kuinka tehostettu tuki on muotoutunut k\u00e4yt\u00e4nn\u00f6ss\u00e4 yksitt\u00e4isen oppilaan kohdalla. Kolmiportainen tuki muotoutui Opetushallituksen erityisopetuksen kehitt\u00e4mishankkeen mietinn\u00f6n pohjalta kirjatun Erityisopetuksen strategian kautta. Kolmiportainen tuki pit\u00e4\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00e4\u00e4n yleisen, tehostetun ja erityisen tuen muodot. Tehostettu tuki tuli uuden kolmiportaisen tuen my\u00f6t\u00e4 yleisopetuksessa annettavan perinteisen yleisen tuen ja erityisopetussiirron my\u00f6t\u00e4 annettavan erityisopetuksen v\u00e4liin. Uudessa tehostetussa tuessa painotetaan ennaltaehk\u00e4isy\u00e4 yleisten tukitoimenpiteiden lis\u00e4\u00e4misen kautta unohtamatta laatua. Kolmiportaisen tuen taustalla on inkluusion toteutuminen kaikille ja kaikkialla. Inkluusioajattelun l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohtana ovat oikeudenmukaisuus ja tasaarvo. Inkluusion n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta kaikilla ihmisill\u00e4 tulisi olla oikeus tuntea olevansa osa normaaliyhteis\u00f6\u00e4 syntym\u00e4st\u00e4\u00e4n l\u00e4htien sek\u00e4 kokea olevansa samanarvoinen yhteiskunnan j\u00e4sen. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena ja sit\u00e4 voidaan kutsua my\u00f6s tapaustutkimukseksi. Tutkimukseen haastattelin koulujen rehtoreita, tapausoppilaiden luokanopettajia ja erityisluokanopettajaa. Haastattelujen lis\u00e4ksi perehdyin kahden tapausoppilaan pedagogisiin asiakirjoihin. Aineiston analysoin laadullisesti. Tutkimukseen osallistui kaksi alakoulua joista toinen oli oppilasm\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4n iso ja toinen pieni kyl\u00e4koulu. Isommalla koululla oli annettu erillist\u00e4 erityisopetusta ja pienryhm\u00e4opetusta jo vuosikymmenten ajan. N\u00e4ilt\u00e4 kahdelta kouluta valitsin my\u00f6s tutkimusta varten tehostetun tuen tapausoppilaat. Tutkimus osoitti, ett\u00e4 olosuhteet, perinteet ja asenteet ovat vaikuttaneet inkluusion ja integraation toteutumiseen kouluilla. Pienell\u00e4 kyl\u00e4koululla inkluusion ja l\u00e4hikouluperiaatteen toteutuminen on jo hyv\u00e4ll\u00e4 mallilla. Isommalla koululla yhteisty\u00f6 ja integraatioprosessi ovat hyv\u00e4ss\u00e4 alussa. T\u00e4ydelliseen inkluusion eteen tulee viel\u00e4 tehd\u00e4 t\u00f6it\u00e4 niin asenteellisesti kuin rakenteellisestikin.
