Tutkittava organisaatio on Ikean Kuopion toimipiste. Tutkimusta varten haastateltiin kolmeatoista ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4\u00e4, seitse-m\u00e4n esimiest\u00e4 ja kuusi ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4\u00e4.\r\n Tutkimuksen kohteena oli tarkastella ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 arvoista ja niiden toteutumisesta. Tutkittavassa organisaatiossa suositaan ep\u00e4virallista ja avointa kom-munikointia ja esimiesten ja ty\u00f6tovereiden v\u00e4lill\u00e4 hierarkian sijasta. Tutkimuskohteena olivat n\u00e4kemykset siit\u00e4, mitk\u00e4 Ikean arvoista n\u00e4kyv\u00e4t, toteutuvat ja ovat helpoimmin tunnistettavista organisaatiossa. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkittiin johtamisen tyylej\u00e4 tiimien sis\u00e4ll\u00e4, kun organisaatiossa on k\u00e4yt\u00f6ss\u00e4\u00e4n arvot ja arvoilla johtaminen.\r\n Organisaatiokulttuuri kertoo ja m\u00e4\u00e4rittelee miten organisaatiossa ajatellaan ja toimi-taan. Se perustuu ep\u00e4viralliseen yhteisymm\u00e4rrykseen siit\u00e4, mik\u00e4 on organisaatiossa hy-v\u00e4ksytty\u00e4 ja toivottua k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 Arvot ihanteita ja tavoitteina ohjaavat ihmisten tekoja ja toimintaa. Arvot voidaan organisaatiossa my\u00f6s n\u00e4hd\u00e4 keinona vaikuttaa ihmisten toi-mintaan ja k\u00e4yt\u00f6kseen ilman muodollisia rakenteita ja kontrollimekanismeja. Niiden avulla voidaan johtaa organisaatiota haluttuun suuntaan ilman autorit\u00e4\u00e4rist\u00e4 johtamis-ta. Arvoilla johtaminen on vaikuttamista sanojen, tekojen ja esimerkin avulla, jolloin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t saadaan ty\u00f6skentelem\u00e4\u00e4n motivoituneesti kohti yhteist\u00e4 tavoitetta. Pitk\u00e4ll\u00e4 aikav\u00e4lill\u00e4 arvojen mukainen toiminta itsess\u00e4\u00e4n muodostaa vastuullisuuden kulttuurin ilman, ett\u00e4 sit\u00e4 tarvitsee erityisemmin jalkauttaa.\r\n Haastateltavien ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden mielest\u00e4 arvoista on hy\u00f6ty\u00e4 organisaatiossa ja ne toimivat ohjeina taustalla, kuinka organisaatiossa tulisi ty\u00f6skennell\u00e4. Arvojen jalkaut-tamisen kannalta on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4, ett\u00e4 arvot ymm\u00e4rret\u00e4\u00e4n niin ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6iden kuin esimies-tenkin toimesta. Arvojen sis\u00e4ist\u00e4miseen h\u00f6ydyllisi\u00e4 v\u00e4lineit\u00e4 ovat keskustelu, yhdess\u00e4 tekeminen, arkip\u00e4iv\u00e4inen toiminta ja esimerkin avulla n\u00e4ytt\u00e4minen, mutta my\u00f6s se, ett\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4lle selitett\u00e4isiin miksi jokin asia tehd\u00e4\u00e4n tietyll\u00e4 tavalla.
