Liikuntakasvatuksen laitos, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopisto, liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu -tutkielma, 114 s., 2 liitett\u00e4.\r\n\r\nTutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 liikunnanopettajaopiskelijoiden, sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 olevien liikunnanopettajien n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 koulun mahdollisuuksista ja esteist\u00e4 edist\u00e4\u00e4 oppilaiden fyysist\u00e4 aktiivisuutta. Tutkimuskohteena oli Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston liikuntakasvatuksen laitoksen liikuntapedagogiikan syvent\u00e4v\u00e4n kurssin Liikunnanopettaja koulun hyvinvoinnin edist\u00e4j\u00e4n\u00e4 opiskelijat, sek\u00e4 kolme ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 olevaa liikuntaa opettavaa opettajaa. Opettajat valittiin tutkimukseen mukaan tavoitteena saada liikunnallistamisen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta erilaisista l\u00e4ht\u00f6kohdista tulevia opettajia.\r\n \r\nTutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena ja aineiston analysoinnissa k\u00e4ytimme teorial\u00e4ht\u00f6ist\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysi\u00e4. Teorial\u00e4ht\u00f6isess\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysiss\u00e4 k\u00e4ytimme soveltuvin osin viitekehyksen\u00e4 Yhdysvaltalaista kokonaisvaltaista koulun liikuntaa mallintavaa Comprehensive School Activity Program ohjelmaa. Tutkimusotteenamme oli hermeneuttis-fenomenologinen metodi. Tutkimusaineisto koostui kahdeksasta puolistrukturoidusta teemahaastattelusta, jotka olivat yksil\u00f6-, pari- ja ryhm\u00e4haastatteluita. Haastatteluissa k\u00e4ytimme apuna ennalta laatimaamme haastattelurunkoa (liite 1). Haastattelut litteroitiin, ja opiskelijoiden ja opettajien n\u00e4kemykset jaettiin lopulta teoreettisen viitekehyksen mukaan kolmeen eri teemaan. N\u00e4m\u00e4 teemat olivat fyysinen aktiivisuus ennen koulup\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4 ja koulup\u00e4iv\u00e4n j\u00e4lkeen, fyysinen aktiivisuus koulup\u00e4iv\u00e4n aikana, sek\u00e4 muut fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen vaikuttavat tekij\u00e4t.\r\n\r\nSek\u00e4 liikunnanopettajaopiskelijat, ett\u00e4 opettajat n\u00e4kiv\u00e4t suurimpana liikunnan edist\u00e4misen esteen\u00e4 muiden opettajien kielteisen asenteen liikunnallistamista kohtaan. My\u00f6s puutteelliset resurssit koettiin merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 haasteena. Erilaisia fyysisen aktiivisuuden edist\u00e4misen mahdollisuuksia n\u00e4htiin runsaasti eri teemoissa. Haastateltavat kokivat, ett\u00e4 kouluilla on mahdollista edist\u00e4\u00e4 liikuntaa, kunhan tavoitteessa on mukana koko kouluyhteis\u00f6 muut opettajat ja rehtori mukaan lukien. Master\u2019s thesis, Department of Sport Sciences, University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, 114pp., 2 appendices.\r\n\r\nThe purpose of this research was to find out the visions of students, and already working physical education teachers, concerning schools possibilities and blockades of increasing the physical activity of students. The research object was the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4\u2019s Department of Sport Sciences physical education class Teacher as a contributor to schools wellbeing, which included students and three already working teachers. Teachers were selected to this study to get a different types of perspectives for the study. \r\n\r\nThe research was conducted as a quality research and we used a theory based on content analysis for evaluating the data. We used an adapted version of the theory based content analysis, which is based on Comprehensive School Activity Program framework from United States. We used a hermeneutic-phenomenological method. The data was consisted of eight half structured theme interviews, which were single-, partner and a group interviews. In the interviews, we used a premade interview structure (appendix 1). The interviews were transcribed and the students and teachers visions were finally divided in the three different categories based on their framework. These themes were physical activity before and after a school day, physical activity during a school day and other things contributing physical activity.\r\n\r\nBoth physical education students and teachers felt that the biggest blockade for enhancing physical education was the negative attitudes of other teachers towards promoting physical activity. Also insufficient resources were experienced as a significant challenge. Different possibilities for promoting physical activity were seen in multiple ways with different themes. The interviewed participants felt that schools have possibility to promote physical activity, as long as the whole school community, including other teachers and principle, are involved.
