Esimerkiksi on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4, ett\u00e4 oppilas tiet\u00e4\u00e4 miten oppii parhaiten ja reflektoi oppimistaan. On tutkittu, ett\u00e4 oppimaan oppimisen avulla oppiminen on tehokkaampaa ja sill\u00e4 on my\u00f6s vaikutusta opettajan ty\u00f6h\u00f6n. Siksi erityisesti tulevien opettajien tulisi perehty\u00e4 oppimaan oppimisen k\u00e4sitteeseen tulevina oppimisen asiantuntijoina.\r\nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa selvitin, mik\u00e4 on oppimaan oppimisen asema suomalaisen yliopiston englannin kielen opinnoissa aineenopettajaopiskelijoiden keskuudessa. Kysyin, miten oppilaat ymm\u00e4rsiv\u00e4t oppimaan oppimisen k\u00e4sitteen, miten opiskelijat tunsivat itsens\u00e4 oppijoina ja mit\u00e4 strategioita he k\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t opinnoissaan. Lis\u00e4ksi selvitin, miten oppimaan oppiminen oli l\u00e4sn\u00e4 yliopisto-opinnoissa, mit\u00e4 he ajattelisivat erillisest\u00e4 oppimaan oppimisen kurssista ja oliko oppimaan oppiminen heid\u00e4n mielest\u00e4\u00e4n t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 heid\u00e4n oman oppimisensa tai tulevan opettajanty\u00f6ns\u00e4 kannalta. Tutkimus toteutettiin teemahaastatteluina lokakuun 2015 aikana. Haastattelin yhteens\u00e4 kuutta toisen ja kolmannen vuoden opiskelijaa.\r\nTutkimustuloksina sain selville, ett\u00e4 kaikki opiskelijat tunnistivat termin. Osa vastaajista koki tuntevansa itsens\u00e4 oppijana ja l\u00f6yt\u00e4neens\u00e4 itselle sopivat oppimismenetelm\u00e4t. Lis\u00e4ksi, oppimaan oppiminen oli l\u00e4sn\u00e4 yliopisto-opinnoissa p\u00e4\u00e4asiassa ep\u00e4suorasti. Esimerkiksi moni opiskelija kertoi suunnittelevansa opintojaan, mutta aihetta k\u00e4siteltiin harvoin luennoilla suoraan. Oppimaan oppiminen ei ollut systemaattisesti integroitu opintoihin eik\u00e4 se ollut oppimisen suora tavoite. Osan mielest\u00e4 erillinen kurssi oppimaan oppimisesta olisi hy\u00f6dyllinen. Kaikki vastaajat kuitenkin totesivat oppimaan oppimisen olevan hyvin t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 sek\u00e4 oman oppimisensa ett\u00e4 tulevan opettajan ty\u00f6ns\u00e4 kannalta.
