Lis\u00e4ksi haluttiin selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 ennustavatko ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 luokalla\nhavaitut aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmat heikkoa osaamisen tasoa\nja motivaatiota toisella luokalla.\n\nTutkimuksen aineistona on k\u00e4ytetty It\u00e4-Suomen erityisopetuksen kehityshankkeessa (ISKE) ker\u00e4tty\u00e4 materiaalia. Aineisto on ker\u00e4tty vuosina 2010\u20132012 seitsem\u00e4st\u00e4 it\u00e4suomalaisesta kunnasta. N\u00e4ist\u00e4 kunnista tutkimuksessa oli mukana 30 koulua ja 57 luokkaa. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa oli mukana 311 tutkittavaa alkuper\u00e4isest\u00e4 840 tutkittavan joukosta. Tutkittavat olivat tutkimuksen alkaessa ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 luokalla. Seurantamittaus tehtiin oppilaiden ollessa toisella luokalla.\n\nT\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa saatujen tulosten perusteella oppilaan aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmien ja osaamisen tason v\u00e4lill\u00e4 voitiin havaita yhteys sek\u00e4 tyt\u00f6ill\u00e4 ett\u00e4 pojilla. Sen sijaan aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmien ja motivaation v\u00e4lisess\u00e4 yhteydess\u00e4 oli eroa sukupuolittain. Tytt\u00f6jen tarkkaavuuden pulmat n\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t olevan yhteydess\u00e4 heikkoon motivaatioon. Vastaavaa yhteytt\u00e4 ei l\u00f6ytynyt pojilta. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus osoitti my\u00f6s, ett\u00e4 ensimm\u00e4isell\u00e4 luokalla havaitut aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmat ennustavat heikkoa osaamisen tasoa toisella luokalla. Aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmat eiv\u00e4t ennusta kuitenkaan motivaation tasoa ensimm\u00e4iselt\u00e4 luokalta toiselle.\n\nTutkimuksen mukaan aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmien vaikutus oppilaan osaamisen tasoon voitiin todeta jo ensimm\u00e4isill\u00e4 luokilla. Tulos tukee aiempien tutkimuksien tuloksia. T\u00e4st\u00e4 syyst\u00e4 olisi t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 l\u00f6yt\u00e4\u00e4 keinoja tukea aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmista k\u00e4rsivi\u00e4 oppilaita heti koulunk\u00e4ynnin alussa. Tulevaisuudessa on t\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4 tutkia millaista tukea opettajat tarjoavat aktiivisuuden ja tarkkaavuuden pulmien kanssa painivien oppilaiden koulunk\u00e4ynnin tueksi.
