Toisena kiinnostuksen kohteena oli potilaiden ja psykologien itse arvioima palautteen ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4vyys. Tutkimus on osa Psykologisten tutkimusten palautekeskustelujen vuorovaikutus -tutkimusprojektia, jonka tavoitteena on tuottaa perustietoa siit\u00e4, mit\u00e4 psykologisten tutkimusten palautekeskusteluissa tapahtuu. Tutkimusaineisto koostui viidest\u00e4 kahdenkeskisest\u00e4 videoidusta psykologisten tutkimusten palautekeskustelusta sek\u00e4 psykologien ja potilaiden itse arvioimista palautekeskustelua koskevista lomakkeista. Tutkimuksissa oli kartoitettu eri-ik\u00e4isten aikuisten ty\u00f6kyky\u00e4 tai oppimisvalmiuksia. Vuorovaikutuksen analysoinnissa k\u00e4ytettiin keskustelunanalyysi\u00e4. Potilaat k\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t kuutta erilaista osallistumisen tapaa psykologisia k\u00e4sitteit\u00e4 sis\u00e4lt\u00e4viss\u00e4 keskustelujaksoissa. Potilaiden osallistumisen tapoja olivat minimivastaukset, omaan kokemuspiiriin liitt\u00e4minen, omakohtainen arviointi, testimenetelm\u00e4\u00e4n liitt\u00e4minen, oma-aloitteinen kysyminen sek\u00e4 tarkennuksen pyyt\u00e4minen. Minimivastauksilla reagointi oli yleisin potilaiden osallistumisen tapa jokaisessa palautekeskustelussa; tarkennuksen pyyt\u00e4minen puolestaan oli harvinaisin potilaiden osallistumisen tapa. Potilaiden antamat minimivastaukset viestittiv\u00e4t psykologeille palautteen vastaanottoa, samanmielisyytt\u00e4 tai sit\u00e4, ettei asiasta ollut tarpeen keskustella enemp\u00e4\u00e4 ja psykologi voi siirty\u00e4 eteenp\u00e4in. Potilaat osallistuivat paikoin aktiivisemmin palautekeskustelun vuorovaikutukseen liitt\u00e4ess\u00e4\u00e4n palautetta omaan kokemuspiiriins\u00e4, k\u00e4ytettyyn testimenetelm\u00e4\u00e4n tai arvioiden sit\u00e4 omakohtaisesti. Arviointilomakkeiden perusteella palaute n\u00e4ytti olevan potilaille ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4. In addition, we were interested in how the patients and the psychologists evaluated the clarity of the assessment feedback. This study is a part of a project called \u201cInteraction in Psychological Assessments Feedback Sessions\u201d which aim is to produce basic information of psychological assessment feedback sessions. The research material of this study consisted of five video recordings of psychological assessment feedback sessions, and evaluation forms filled out by the psychologists and the patients. The patients had gone through a psychological assessment process where their working ability or learning ability was evaluated. The research material was analyzed by conversation analysis. The patients used six different ways to participate in interactions that included psychological concepts. They were minimal responses, associating the concept with their personal life, personal evaluation, associating the concept with the applied test method, spontaneous asking and asking for clarification. Minimal responses were the patients\u2019 most common way of participation in every assessment feedback session, whereas asking for clarification was the most infrequent way. The minimal responses were signals of receiving the feedback, like-mindedness or the fact that there was no need to discuss the subject any further and the psychologist could move forward. The patients were occasionally a more active part of the interaction of the assessment feedback session when associating the concept with their personal life or to the test method applied, and when evaluating it personally. According to evaluation forms, the assessment feedback seemed to be clear to the patients. The study results give a description of the different ways how the patients participate in feedback interaction when the psychologists are using psychological concepts as part of their feedback.
