Lis\u00e4ksi tarkasteltiin opiskelijoiden k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 ty\u00f6rauhasta sen h\u00e4iri\u00f6iden, taustavaikuttajien, edist\u00e4misen ja siin\u00e4 k\u00e4ytett\u00e4vien keinojen osalta. Tutkimus toteutettiin mixed methods -l\u00e4hestymistavalla eli k\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 sek\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4llist\u00e4 ett\u00e4 laadullista, fenomenografista tutkimusotetta. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin kyselylomakkeella kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 2014 ja syksyll\u00e4 2015. Tutkimukseen vastasi 53 opintojensa loppupuolella olevaa luokanopettajaopiskelijaa. Kyselylomake sis\u00e4lsi Likert-asteikollisia min\u00e4pystyvyytt\u00e4 mittaavaa v\u00e4itt\u00e4mi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 nelj\u00e4 ty\u00f6rauhaan liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 avointa kysymyst\u00e4. Min\u00e4pystyvyytt\u00e4 tarkasteltiin tilastollisella analyysill\u00e4 ja avoimet kysymykset analysoitiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isesti kategorioita muodostaen.\r\nTulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 tulevilla opettajilla on keskinkertainen luokanhallinnan min\u00e4pystyvyys (ka. 5.4 asteikolla 1\u20137). Suurinta varmuutta vastaajat kokivat suunnitteluun liittyviss\u00e4 teht\u00e4viss\u00e4 ja heikointa ty\u00f6rauhan osa-alueessa. K\u00e4sitykset ty\u00f6rauhasta, sen syist\u00e4 ja siihen k\u00e4ytett\u00e4vist\u00e4 ennaltaehk\u00e4isyn ja puuttumisen keinoista olivat rohkaisevan moderneja ja opettajan osuutta tiedostavia, vaikkakin oppilaan osuus korostui. Vaikka min\u00e4pystyvyys oli suhteellisen korkea ja k\u00e4sitykset ty\u00f6rauhasta moderneja, olisi toivottavaa, ett\u00e4 luokanopettajakoulutus tukisi entist\u00e4 paremmin luokanhallinnan min\u00e4pystyvyyden muotoutumista ja kehitt\u00e4isi ty\u00f6rauhak\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 ennaltaehk\u00e4isy\u00e4 painottavaan suuntaan.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The objective of the study was to examine student`s self-efficacy in classroom management and educator conceptions of discipline disruptions. We examined respondents\u2019 conceptions about discipline disruption and causatives, conceptions of how to prevent discipline problems, and what kind of measures the respondents would use in a case of disruption. The study was carried out as qualitative and quantitative-based survey and phenomenografic approach. The data was collected during April and May 2014 and September and November 2015 from 53 student respondents from Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 University\u2019s teacher education department. The respondents were performing either the third or fourth final sections of practical training. The surveys contained Likert-scale statements concerning self-efficacy and four open questions about conceptions of discipline disruptions. The analysis of the material was data driven; the quantitative statements were examined analyzed statistical. The qualitative data was analyzed in a typical fenomenografical way by creating categories.\r\nThe survey showed that self-efficacy was measured at an average level. The highest rates were measured in planning related tasks and lowest rates in discipline section. Student\u2019s conceptions of discipline and its tools were encouragingly modern. Also the teacher\u2019s part and role in discipline issues was consciously recognized even though the student\u2019s role was also emphasized as in earlier studies too.
