Liikuntakasvatuksen laitos, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopisto, Liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu -tutkielma 145 s., 26 liitett\u00e4.\nTutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 8.- 9. -luokkalaisten oppilaiden keskuudessa esiintyv\u00e4\u00e4 koulukiusaamista, fyysisen aktiivisuuden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4 sek\u00e4 heid\u00e4n liikuntamotiivejaan. Lis\u00e4ksi pyrimme selvitt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n koulukiusaamisen yhteytt\u00e4 oppilaiden fyysiseen aktiivisuuteen sek\u00e4 liikuntamotiiveihin 8.- ja 9. -luokkalaisilla tyt\u00f6ill\u00e4 ja pojilla. \nTutkimuksen kohdejoukkona oli Liikkuva koulu -hankkeeseen osallistuneiden koulujen 8.- ja 9. luokkalaiset. Aineisto ker\u00e4ttiin LIKES -tutkimuskeskuksen teett\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 laajalla kyselylo-makkeella syksyll\u00e4 2011 ja tutkimukseen osallistui yhteens\u00e4 1231 oppilasta kahdeksasta eri koulusta ymp\u00e4ri Suomea. Aineiston kuvailussa k\u00e4ytimme keskiarvoja, keskihajontoja sek\u00e4 frekvenssej\u00e4. Riippumattomien otosten t-testi\u00e4 k\u00e4ytimme selvitt\u00e4ess\u00e4mme tytt\u00f6jen ja poikien ja 8. -9. \u2013luokkalaisten eroja tutkituissa muuttujissa. Koulukiusaamisen yhteytt\u00e4 oppilaiden fyysisen aktiivisuuden m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4n tutkimme ristiintaulukoinnin avulla. Oppilaiden liikuntamo-tiiveja analysoimme Promax-rotatoidun p\u00e4\u00e4akselifaktorianalyysin avulla muodostettujen summamuuttujien kautta. Kiusaamisen yhteyksi\u00e4 liikuntamotivaatioon tutkimme Pearsonin tulomomenttikorrelaatiokertoimen avulla. \nKaikista oppilaista yhteens\u00e4 20,3 % oli kokenut kiusaamista tutkimuslukukauden aikana. Sa-moin joka viides oppilaista tunnusti osallistuvansa muiden kiusaamiseen koulussa. Pojat osal-listuivat kiusaamiseen tytt\u00f6j\u00e4 enemm\u00e4n sek\u00e4 kokivat my\u00f6s tulleensa kiusatuiksi useammin kuin tyt\u00f6t. Liikuntasuositusten mukaan v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n tunnin p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4in liikkui 12, 8 % tutkimukseen osallistuneista oppilaista. Pojat t\u00e4yttiv\u00e4t suosituksen tytt\u00f6j\u00e4 useammin. Lis\u00e4ksi liikunnan m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 v\u00e4heni 8. luokalta 9. luokalle siirrytt\u00e4ess\u00e4. Kouluajan ulkopuolella 4,8 % oppilaista ei harrasta lainkaan liikuntaa. Oppilaat, jotka kokivat koulukiusaamista, olivat useammin fyysisesti eritt\u00e4in passiivisia, kuin oppilaat, jotka eiv\u00e4t kokeneet kiusaamista. Koulukiusaajat puolestaan harrastivat kokonaisuudessaan v\u00e4hemm\u00e4n liikuntaa kuin oppilaat, jotka eiv\u00e4t osallistuneet kiusaamiseen koulussa. Koulukiusaamisen ja liikuntamotiivien v\u00e4liset korrelaatiot olivat alhaisella tasolla. Samoin k\u00e4vi koulukiusaamisen ja liikkumattomuuden syiden v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 korrelaatioita tarkasteltaessa. \nTulosten mukaan voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 vain harva suomalainen 8.-9. luokkalainen liikkuu ter-veytens\u00e4 kannalta riitt\u00e4v\u00e4sti. Koulukiusaamisen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 oli tutkituissa kouluissa melko korkea. V\u00e4h\u00e4inen liikunta aktiivisuus ja kiusaaminen olivat yhteydess\u00e4 toisiinsa. V\u00e4h\u00e4n liikkuvia sek\u00e4 kiusattiin, ett\u00e4 he kiusasivat muita enemm\u00e4n. The connections between bullying in school and physical activity together with physical activity -motives during leisure time on students, grades 8. and 9. Department of Physical Education. University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Master`s thesis, 145 pp., 26 ap-pendicies.\nThe purpose of this study was to investigate bullying in school, physical activity and -motives on students grades 8.-9. Furthermore study tried to solve how bullying and being bullied at school effects to adolescent boys` and girls` physical activity and how they get motivated to be physically active or what are the reasons to be inactive. \nTarget group consisted eight- and ninth-graders from the schools which took part in Liikkuva koulu -project during autumn 2011. The material was collected as a part of a survey organized by LIKES-research facility. Eight schools around Finland took part to the survey and in total 1231 students answered the questionnaire. To describe our data we used means, standard de-viations and frequencies. To compare the differences between grades and sex on our variables, we used Independent samples t-test. Crosstabs were used to compare connections between bullying and physical activity. Using Principal axis factoring, physical activity motives were summed into groups for easier analyzes. To find out the connections between physical activity motives and bullying, Pearson`s correlation coefficient was used..\nDuring the research semester 20,3 % of the students had been bullied. Also every fifth student confessed to take part in bullying. Boys bullied more than girls, but were also bullied by others more than girls. In this study 12,8 % of the student moved at least 60 min every day, like its recommended. Boys fulfilled recommendations more often than girl. Furthermore, physical activity declined from 8-grade to 9-grade. Outside of school day 4,8 % of the students don`t do any physically active exercises. Students who were bullied, were more often physically passive than students who didn`t face bullying. Bullies in turn were in total less physically active than student who didn\u2019t take part in bullying. Correlations between bullying and physical activity motives were weak. Correlations were similarly weak between bullying and reasons to be inactive. \nAccording to the results, very few Finn 8. or 9.grader is physically active enough in health point of view. The amount of bullying was quite high in the research-schools. Low level of physical activity was linked to bullying at school. Student who were physically inactive both bullied and were bullied by others, more than average.
