Liikuntakasvatuksen laitos, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopisto, pro gradu \u2013tutkielma, 98s., 4 liitett\u00e4.\nTutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 teknologia-avusteisen liikunnanopetuksen yhteytt\u00e4 oppilaiden itse arvioituun sosiaaliseen kompetenssiin, auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen sek\u00e4 oppilaiden kokemaan ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuuteen. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin my\u00f6s sukupuolten v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 eroja itse arvioidussa sosiaalisessa kompetenssissa ja auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisess\u00e4 sek\u00e4 ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuuden kokemuksissa liikuntatunneilla. Lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksessa analysoitiin sosiaalisen kompetenssin, auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen ja ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuuden v\u00e4lisi\u00e4 yhteyksi\u00e4. \nTutkimuksen kohderyhm\u00e4n\u00e4 olivat Joensuun normaalikoulun yksi viides luokka (n=24) ja Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n Normaalikoulusta kolme viidett\u00e4 luokkaa (n=69). Tutkimukseen osallistui yhteens\u00e4 93 oppilasta, 43 tytt\u00f6\u00e4 ja 50 poikaa. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin samalla kyselylomakkeella kahdella eri mittauskerralla, ensimm\u00e4isen kerran syyskuun 2014 alussa ja toisen kerran joulukuun 2014 alussa. Molemmilla mittauskerroilla kyselyyn vastanneita oppilaita oli 89. Oppilaiden sosiaalisen kompetenssin osa-alueita, prososiaalisuutta ja antisosiaalisuutta, arvioitiin MASK (MonitahoArviointi Sosiaalisesta Kompetenssista) -testist\u00f6n itsearviointilomakkeen avulla (Kaukiainen ym. 2005; Junttila ym. 2006). Auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymist\u00e4 arvioitiin lyhennetyll\u00e4 suomalaisversiolla auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen mittarista (The Finnish version of the shortened Helping Behaviour Scale; Kokkonen 2003). Ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuutta tutkittiin mittaamalla oppilaiden kokemaa sosiaalista koheesiota ja sosiaalista yhteenkuuluvuutta. Sosiaalisen koheesioon mittaamisessa hy\u00f6dynnettiin YSEQ-mittaria (Eys ym. 2009b.), josta valittiin kouluun soveltuvimmat v\u00e4itt\u00e4m\u00e4t. N\u00e4m\u00e4 v\u00e4itt\u00e4m\u00e4t muokattiin alakouluik\u00e4isille sopiviksi. Sosiaalista yhteenkuuluvuutta mitattiin Soinin (2014) Motivational Climate in Physical Education Scale (MCPES) \u2013 mittarin nelj\u00e4ll\u00e4 sosiaalista yhteenkuuluvuusilmastoa arvioimalla v\u00e4itt\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4. Mittarien luotettavuutta testattiin eksploratiivisella faktorianalyysilla ja Cronbachin alfakertoimella. Tutkimusainestoa analysoitiin riippumattomien otosten T-testin, parittaisen T-testin sek\u00e4 Pearsonin tulomomenttikorrelaatiokertoimen avulla.\nTeknologia-avusteisella liikunnanopetuksella ei havaittu olevan yhteytt\u00e4 oppilaiden itse arvioituun sosiaaliseen kompetenssiin, auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen ja oppilaiden kokemaan ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuuteen. Tyt\u00f6t arvioivat auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisens\u00e4 korkeammaksi kuin pojat. Sosiaalisessa kompetenssissa ja ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuudessa ei havaittu eroja tytt\u00f6jen ja poikien v\u00e4lill\u00e4. Sosiaalisen kompetenssin osa-alueista prososiaaliseen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen havaittiin olevan my\u00f6nteisesti yhteydess\u00e4 ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuuteen ja auttamisk\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen. Lis\u00e4ksi prososiaalisen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen havaittiin tyt\u00f6ill\u00e4 olevan kielteisesti yhteydess\u00e4 antisosiaaliseen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymiseen. Pojilla ei havaittu yhteytt\u00e4 prososiaalisen ja antisosiaalisen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytymisen v\u00e4lill\u00e4.\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 teknologian hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4minen liikunnanopetuksessa ei yksin\u00e4\u00e4n edist\u00e4 eik\u00e4 heikenn\u00e4 oppilaiden sosiaalisia taitoja ja ryhm\u00e4n yhteenkuuluvuutta. The second aim was to analyze the gender differences in self-evaluated social competence, helping behavior and perceptions of group cohesion in PE classes. The aim was also to examine the correlations between those variables. \nThe target groups of the study were a class of 5th graders from the University of Joensuu Teacher Training School (n=24) and three groups of 5th graders from the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 Teacher Training School (n=69). 93 pupils participated in the study, 43 girls and 50 boys. Research data was collected in two different measurement times with a questionnaire during the fall 2014. In both measurement times, 89 pupils answered the questionnaire. Prosocial and antisocial behaviors, the dimensions of social competence, were measured with self-ratings from Multisource Assessment of Social Competence Scale\u2019s (MASCS) (Junttila etc. 2006). The pupils\u2019 helping behavior was analyzed by the Finnish version of the shortened Helping Behaviour Scale (Kokkonen 2003). Group cohesion was examined by measuring social cohesion and social relatedness. Social cohesion was measured by utilizing Youth Sport Environment Questionnaire (Eys etc. 2009b), which was modified by choosing the most applicable items for this study. The items were modified to suit primary school children. Social relatedness was analyzed by four social relatedness items from Soini\u2019s (2006) Motivational Climate in Physical Education Scale (MCPES). The reliability of the indicators was tested through exploratory factor analysis and using Cronbach alpha coefficient scale. The results of the study were analyzed by utilizing the T-test and Pearson\u2019s product-moment correlation coefficient. \nThere were no significant correlations between the technologically assisted PE classes and the 5th graders\u2019 self-evaluated social competence, helping behavior and their perceptions of group cohesion. The girls scored higher on helping behavior than the boys. There were no differences between the girls\u2019 and the boys\u2019 self-evaluated social competence and group cohesion. The prosocial dimension of social competence had positive correlation with group cohesion and helping behavior. The girls\u2019 prosocial behavior had a negative correlation with antisocial behavior, whereas the boys did not have correlation between these variables.\nAccording to the results it can be assumed that technologically assisted PE classes alone do not increase or decrease pupils\u2019 social skills and group cohesion.
