Tarkastelu tehtiin t\u00e4t\u00e4 tarkoitusta varten suunnitellun MATLAB-ohjelman avulla. Laskennan pohjana k\u00e4ytettiin Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopiston kemian laitoksen s\u00e4\u00e4asemalta saatuja s\u00e4teily-, l\u00e4mp\u00f6tila- ja tuulennopeusaineistoja vuosilta 2010 ja 2011.\n\nTutkimuskohteina k\u00e4ytettiin viitt\u00e4 kerrostaloa, jotka sijaitsevat alle 1,5 kilometrin et\u00e4isyydell\u00e4 s\u00e4\u00e4asemasta. Tasakatolle sijoitettavat aurinkos\u00e4hk\u00f6paneelit suunnattiin etel\u00e4\u00e4n 47 asteen kallistuskulmassa. Harjakatoille paneelit sijoitettiin lappeen suuntaisesti. Paneeliksi valittiin monikiteinen aurinkos\u00e4hk\u00f6paneeli, jonka nimellisteho on 305 W. Kullekin kohteelle laskettiin kuukausi-, kausi- ja vuosikohtainen tuotto vuodelle 2010. Kunkin kohteen tuottoa verrattiin rakennuksen arvioituun laites\u00e4hk\u00f6nkulutukseen, jonka oletettiin olevan 2400 kWh asuntoa kohti vuodessa. Lis\u00e4ksi tarkasteltiin vuosien 2010 ja 2011 vuosituottojen v\u00e4list\u00e4 eroa sek\u00e4 eri paneelityyppien vaikutusta saataviin tuottoihin.\n\nEsimerkkitapauksissa katolle asennetulla aurinkos\u00e4hk\u00f6j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4ll\u00e4 voidaan mallinnuksen tulosten perusteella parhaassa tapauksessa kattaa noin 35% rakennuksen laites\u00e4hk\u00f6nkulutuksesta. T\u00e4m\u00e4 35 prosentin osuus voidaan saavuttaa korkeintaan nelj\u00e4- tai viisikerroksisissa rakennuksissa, sill\u00e4 t\u00e4t\u00e4 korkeammilla rakennuksilla aurinkopaneelien asennukseen k\u00e4ytett\u00e4v\u00e4n kattopinta-alan suhde asuntojen m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4n on liian pieni. Neli\u00f6metrikohtaisia tuottoja voitaisiin parantaa tehokkaammalla 345 W:n yksikidepaneelilla noin 14%, mik\u00e4 vastaa noin paria prosenttiyksikk\u00f6\u00e4 kulutuksesta. Vuosien 2010 ja 2011 vuosituottojen v\u00e4lill\u00e4 ei havaittu merkitt\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4 eroa vuosikulutuksen kannalta.", "language": "fi", "element": "description", "qualifier": "abstract", "schema": "dc"}, {"key": "dc.description.abstract", "value": "The aim of this thesis is to look into the photovoltaic potential of residental buildings in Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 by simulating the yield of a rooftop photovoltaic solar system and by comparing the yield with the electricity consumption of the building. A MATLAB program was developed for calculation purposes. Radiation, temperature and wind speed data for the years 2010 and 2011 were used for the calculations. The data were collected by the weather station of the Department of Chemistry of the University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4.\n\nFive apartment buildings, situated within a 1.5 km radius from the weather station, were used as case study samples. PV panels placed on flat roofs were directed to the south with a tilt angle of 47 degrees. The panels placed on pitched roofs were positioned in the direction of and with the tilt angle of the rooftop. The PV panel used was a polycrystalline silicon solar panel with a nominal power of 305 W. Monthly, seasonal and annual yields for the year 2010 were calculated for each of the case study buildings. The yield of each building was compared with the building\u2019s approximate annual energy consumption of household appliances, which was assumed to be 2400 kWh per household per year. Yield differences between the years 2010 and 2011 were also studied, as well as the effects of selecting a different type of solar panel.\n\nBased on the calculations perfomed for the case study buildings, up to 35% of the annual energy consumption of household appliances could be covered with a rooftop PV system. This holds true for buildings up to 4 or 5 floors, since higher buildings have markedly less surface area for PV panels per household. If a monocrystalline solar panel with a nominal power rating of 345 W was used, yields per square meter could be increased by approximately\n14%, which is equivalent to approximately two percentage points of the annual consumption.
