Lis\u00e4ksi esiteltiin glyfosaatin ja\nfosforin keskin\u00e4ist\u00e4 vuorovaikutusta maaper\u00e4ss\u00e4 sek\u00e4 biohiilen tuotantoon liittyvien muuttujien\nvaikutusta torjunta-aineiden ja ravinteiden huuhtoutumiseen.\nTutkimuksen mukaan maaper\u00e4n biohiililis\u00e4ykset v\u00e4hent\u00e4v\u00e4t glyfosaatin huuhtoutumista\nkeskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 71 % ja AMPA:n huuhtoutumista keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin 36 %. Biohiililis\u00e4ykset eiv\u00e4t\nkuitenkaan vaikuttaneet tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti fosforin huuhtoumaan.\nBiohiilen tuotantol\u00e4mp\u00f6tilalla ei ollut merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 vaikutusta glyfosaatin ja AMPA:n\nhuuhtoumiin. The biochar used in the experiment was produced through pyrolyses\nat three different temperatures (300, 375 and 475 \u00baC). The additional objectives were to\npresent the interaction of glyphosate and phosphorus in soil and the effects that different\nvariables related to a biochar production have on pesticide and nutrient leaching.\nThe results showed that the application of biochar reduced the leaching of glyphosate by\n71 % and AMPA by 36 % in soil. It was not possible to indicate which features of biochar\nreduced the leaching. The application of biochar did not affect significantly the leaching of\nphosphorus (PO4-P).\nThe effects of pyrolysis temperatures on glyphosate and AMPA leaching were not statistically\nsignificant either. Due to the variation in the leachability and the little amount of replicates\nit was not possible to reliably indicate the differences between biochars. However,\ncontrary to the hypothesis there were some indications that the biochar produced in low\ntemperatures might be the most effective in reducing the leaching of glyphosate. The biochar\nobtained from a low temperature pyrolysis (300 \u00baC) demonstrated computationally the\nmost significant reducing of leaching. The leaching of glyphosate and AMPA reduced 81\n% and 46 % compared to the control treatment, respectively. With the amendment of 475\n\u00baC biochar in the soil, total glyphosate and AMPA leachates decreased by 58 % and 23 %,\nrespectively. More studies are needed to investigate the effects of pyrolysis temperatures\non glyphosate leaching.\nAdding biochar to soil is a promising way to reduce the leaching of harmful substances.\nSoil-biochar additions could be an effective way to reduce leaching especially in clearly\ndefined targets, such as drainages and the edges of slope fields.
