Liikuntakasvatuksen laitos, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4n yliopisto, liikuntapedagogiikan pro gradu -tutkielma, 75 s., 3 liitett\u00e4.\r\n\r\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 peruskoulun ja lukion liikunnanopettajien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4mi\u00e4 opetustyylej\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi haluttiin tarkastella opettajien muista didaktisista ratkaisuista n\u00e4ytt\u00f6j\u00e4, palautteenantoa ja pelaamista. Tutkimus oli luonteeltaan laadullinen. Tutkimusaineisto ker\u00e4ttiin yhdeks\u00e4lt\u00e4 mies- ja seitsem\u00e4lt\u00e4 naisliikunnanopettajalta lokakuun 2013 ja tammikuun 2014 v\u00e4lisen\u00e4 aikana. Observoituja tunteja oli yhteens\u00e4 18 kaksoistuntia, yksi kolmoistunti ja yksi yks\u00f6istunti. Observoinneissa apuna oli havainnointilomake, johon kirjattiin opetettava aihe, oppilaiden luokka-aste ja -koko, harjoite ja toiminta, ty\u00f6tapa ja opettajan toiminta tunnilla. Lis\u00e4ksi jokaisen tunnin p\u00e4\u00e4tteeksi opettajia haastateltiin lyhyesti. Haastattelulla ker\u00e4ttiin taustatiedot opettajan koulutuksesta ja opetuskokemuksesta. Haastattelu sis\u00e4lsi kysymyksi\u00e4 siit\u00e4, mitk\u00e4 tekij\u00e4t vaikuttivat opetustyylin valintaan kyseisell\u00e4 tunnilla ja oliko observoidussa tunnissa jotain poikkeuksellista.\r\n\r\nTutkimuksessa havainnoidut ty\u00f6tavat mukailevat Mosstonin ja Ashworthin (2008) opetustyylien spektriss\u00e4 esitettyj\u00e4 11 erilaista ty\u00f6tapaa, jotka toimivat opetustyylien teoreettisena pohjana t\u00e4ss\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tulokset osoittivat opettajien k\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4n sek\u00e4 opettaja- ett\u00e4 oppijakeskeisi\u00e4 ty\u00f6tapoja. Opettajakeskeisist\u00e4 ty\u00f6tavoista k\u00e4ytettiin komento- ja teht\u00e4v\u00e4opetusta, pariohjausta sek\u00e4 eriytyv\u00e4\u00e4 opetusta. Opettajakeskeisi\u00e4 ty\u00f6tapoja k\u00e4ytettiin usein, mutta selke\u00e4sti suosituin oli teht\u00e4v\u00e4opetus jota havaittiin jokaisella miesopettajan tunnilla. Naisopettajista ainoastaan kahdella tunnilla ei havaittu teht\u00e4v\u00e4opetuksen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00e4. T\u00e4m\u00e4 selittynee tanssin opetuksella, jossa esimerkiksi komentotyyli on k\u00e4ytetympi ja luonnollisempi opetustapa. Oppijakeskeisist\u00e4 ty\u00f6tavoista k\u00e4ytettiin erilaisten ratkaisujen tuottamista ja itseopetusta, joista ensin mainittua k\u00e4ytettiin selv\u00e4sti enemm\u00e4n. Itseopetusta havaittiin ainoastaan yhdell\u00e4 naisopettajan tunnilla. \r\n\r\nOpetustyylien lis\u00e4ksi tarkasteltiin my\u00f6s muita didaktisia ratkaisuja. Liikuntasuorituksen n\u00e4ytt\u00f6j\u00e4 havaittiin sek\u00e4 opettajien ett\u00e4 oppilaiden toteuttamina. Palautetta oppilaat saivat jokaisella tunnilla. Palautetta saivat sek\u00e4 yksitt\u00e4iset oppilaat ett\u00e4 koko ryhm\u00e4. Oppilaat pelasivat jokaisella palloilutunnilla. Opettaja toimi peliosiossa useimmiten tuomarina jakaen samalla teknisi\u00e4 ja taktisia vinkkej\u00e4 oppilaille. Physical education teacher's use of teaching styles in secondary and upper secondary schools. Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences, Department of Physical Education, University of Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4, Master's thesis, 75 p., 3 appendix.\r\n\r\nThe aim of this study was to investigate qualitatively physical education teacher's use of teaching styles in secondary and upper secondary schools. Furthermore, interest was also indicated in other didactics choices: demonstration, feedback and games. The participants of the study were nine male and seven female teachers and the data was collected between October 2013 and January 2014. Together 18 double lessons were observed, one single and one lesson with three 45 minutes lessons. Observings were written in lesson outline, which consists of lessons issue, class level and size, activity, teaching style and teachers\u2019 behaviour on lessons. After every lesson there was also a short interview of the teacher where questions were asked about the teachers experience and choice of the teaching style performed.\r\n\r\nTheoretical source in this research was based on Mosston and Ashworths (2008) the spectrum of teaching styles. It consists of 11 different teaching styles from A-K which vary from one another. The results of the study revealed that teachers are using different teaching styles. They used both reproductive (A-E) and productive styles (F-K). A command (A), the practice (B), the reciprocal (C) and the inclusion style (E) were used from reproductive styles. The practice style (B) was the most popular. Every male teacher and almost every female teacher used the practice style (B) on their lessons. Out of productive styles divergent discovery style (H) was more common, but also self-teaching style (K) was used on one lesson.\r\n\r\nAlso other didactic choices were observed. Demonstrations were performed by both teacher and student. During every lesson feedback was given to both single students and groups. Actual games were played during every ball game lesson. During games the teacher usually acted as a referee giving both technical and tactical advices at the same time.
