Rasitustason muuttuessa voimakkaasti sykev\u00e4livaihtelun luotettava analysointi on kuitenkin hankalaa ja laskennallisesti vaativaa. Perinteisesti muuttuvan rasitustason analyysit on suoritettu nopeaa Fourier-muunnosta k\u00e4ytt\u00e4en. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 testataan kirjallisuudessa aiemmin esitetyn, nopeaa Fourier-muunnosta yksinkertaisemman aikakentt\u00e4analyysin sovellusta \r\nmuuttuvan rasitustason tilanteessa. Menetelm\u00e4ss\u00e4 ideana on tutkittavan aikajakson jakaminen sopiviin osajaksoihin, joiden sis\u00e4lt\u00e4 muutoksen vaikutus voitaisiin h\u00e4ivytt\u00e4\u00e4. Tutkimuksessa selvitet\u00e4\u00e4n ovatko tulokset riippumattomia siit\u00e4, kuinka pitki\u00e4 osajaksot ovat. T\u00e4m\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi tarkastellaan kuuden viikon ruokavalio-ohjaus- tai liikuntaintervention vaikutusta keski-ik\u00e4isten, liikunnallisesti inaktiivisten ja ylipainoisten naisten (n=80) sykev\u00e4livaihteluparametreihin osajaksoihin jakamalla laskien. Tutkimuksessa k\u00e4ytetty data on koehenkil\u00f6iden tutkimusjakson aluksi ja lopuksi suorittamien nousevien maksimirasitustestien j\u00e4lkeisten yhdeks\u00e4n \r\nminuutin palautusjaksojen aikana sykemittareilla tallennettu sykev\u00e4livaihtelutieto. Haluttujen parametrien laskemiseksi tehtiin t\u00e4m\u00e4n mahdollistava Matlab-ohjelma. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 ty\u00f6ss\u00e4 k\u00e4ytetyt sykev\u00e4livaihtelun parametrit olivat: sykev\u00e4lien neli\u00f6llinen keskiarvo (RMS), sykev\u00e4lien keskihajonta (SD), per\u00e4tt\u00e4isten sykev\u00e4lien erotuksen keskiarvo (RRI) ja per\u00e4tt\u00e4isten sykev\u00e4lien erotuksen neli\u00f6llisen keskiarvon neli\u00f6juuri (MSSD). Tutkimuksessa kaikkien laskettujen parametrien arvot riippuivat tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4sti (p<0.05) siit\u00e4 kuinka pitkiin osajaksoihin tarkastelujakso oli jaettu. T\u00e4m\u00e4n perusteella vaikuttaisi silt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 menetelm\u00e4 ei yleisesti ole k\u00e4ytt\u00f6kelpoinen muuttuvan rasitustason tilanteisiin, sill\u00e4 saatuja tuloksia voidaan verrata toisiin vain siin\u00e4 tapauksessa, ett\u00e4 osajaksot ovat yht\u00e4 pitki\u00e4. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa liikunta- tai ruokavalio-ohjausinterventioiden vaikutuksesta tapahtunutta, tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4 (p<0.05) kasvua oli vain parametrin RRI osalta. Kaikkien muidenkin tutkittujen parametrien \r\nosalta tapahtui parantunutta terveytt\u00e4 indikoivaa kasvua, mutta se ei ollut tilastollisesti merkitsev\u00e4\u00e4. Interventiotyyppien vaikutukset olivat samankaltaisia. A connection between them is reverse. However, when stress level changes rapidly, reliable analysing is difficult and computationally demanding. In this kind of situation, calculating was traditionally done with Fast Fourier Transformation. In this thesis, simpler time-domain analysis application was tested in the situation of rapidly changing stress level. The idea of that method is split test period to shorter sub-periods and then remove the effect of chancing stress level from the sub-periods. In this study, an effect of splitting interval to heart rate variability \r\nparameters was tested. An effect of six weeks physical training or nutrition guidance to middle age, overweight and physical in-active women\u2019s (n=80) heart rate variability parameters with the application at issue was tested also. Heart rate variability data was collected with heart rate monitor from nine minutes recovery period in two separate maximal performance test, first before six weeks intervention and second immediately after that. Desired parameters were calculated with Matlab-program made by thesis worker. Heart rate variability parameters in this thesis were: root mean square of heart rate intervals (RMS), standard deviation of \r\nheart rate intervals (SD), average of difference of successive heart rate intervals (RRI) and root mean square of successive heart rate intervals (MSSD). This study indicated that there is no statistical significance (p<0.05) between results with different sub-periods with any calculated parameter. Because different measurements can be compared only if splitting protocol is exactly same, the conclusion is that application at issue not be a valid method in situation of changing stress level. In this study, physical activity or nutrition guidance intervention affect \r\nstatistically significance (p<0.05) only to RRI. There were minor changes which indicates better health in other parameters also, but them were not statistically significant. The influences were similar in both intervention types.
