Aiemmissa tutkimuksissa on tarkasteltu organisaatiokulttuuriin liittyvi\u00e4 hyveit\u00e4 ja kehitetty eettisen organisaatiokulttuurin mittaria, joista kattavin on Kapteinin (2008) CEV-malli. Mittareiden kehitt\u00e4misen lis\u00e4ksi tutkimuksissa on kuvattu eettisen organisaatiokulttuurin yhteyksi\u00e4 organisaation tuloksellisuuteen sek\u00e4 ty\u00f6hyvinvointiin. Aikaisemmasta tutkimuksesta poiketen tutkielmassa perehdyt\u00e4\u00e4n suomalaisten yritysjohtajien arvostamiin hyveisiin ja Kapteinin (2008) hyveiden t\u00e4rkeysj\u00e4rjestykseen asettamiseen. Tutkimuskysymykset ovat seuraavat: 1. Mit\u00e4 eettisell\u00e4 organisaatiokulttuurilla tarkoitetaan? 2. Millaisia hyveit\u00e4 kohdeorganisaatioissa mainitaan? 3. Mit\u00e4 Kapteinin hyveist\u00e4 kohdeorganisaatioissa pidet\u00e4\u00e4n t\u00e4rkeimpin\u00e4?\r\nAineisto ker\u00e4ttiin teorial\u00e4ht\u00f6isell\u00e4 puolistrukturoidulla haastattelulla. Tutkielmaa varten haastateltiin kymment\u00e4 eri organisaation edustajaa, jotka toimivat esimiesteht\u00e4viss\u00e4. Aineisto analysoitiin teemoittelemalla. Vastauksista nousi esille kolme vahvaa p\u00e4\u00e4teemaa: 1) yksil\u00f6n vastuu omasta ja organisaation kehittymisest\u00e4, 2) rankaisemattomuus ja perinteisest\u00e4 palkitsemisesta irtaantuminen sek\u00e4 3) yhteisty\u00f6 ja toisia tukeva ilmapiiri. Kapteinin (2008) hyveet muodostivat t\u00e4rkeysj\u00e4rjestyksen: 1. organisaation tuki, 2. keskusteltavuus, 3. esimiehen esimerkki, 4. selkeys, 5. johdon esimerkki, 6. l\u00e4pin\u00e4kyvyys, 7. toteutettavuus ja 8. toiminnan seuraukset.\r\nKapteinin mallia voisi kehitt\u00e4\u00e4 vuorovaikutteisemmaksi luomalla vastauksista ilmenneiden p\u00e4\u00e4teemojen pohjalta uusia hyveit\u00e4.
