Kuntoutuslaitoksissa k\u00e4yvien kuntoutusasiakkaiden asiakasprofiilia ei ole aiemmin selvitetty. T\u00e4m\u00e4n lis\u00e4ksi on t\u00e4rke\u00e4 selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 heid\u00e4n ajatuksiaan ja arviotaan palveluista ja niiden laadusta.\r\n\r\nPro gradu - tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4 ja kuvata kuntoutusasiakkaiden asiakasprofiilia Kylpyl\u00e4hotelli ja kuntoutus Peurungassa sek\u00e4 heid\u00e4n arviotaan palveluiden laadusta. Tutkimus toteutettiin kyselytutkimuksena sek\u00e4 teemahaastatteluin aikav\u00e4lill\u00e4 28.2.2011 ja 31.3.2012. Kyselyyn vastasi kaikkiaan 755 Peurungan asiakasta, jotka jaoteltiin kolmeen p\u00e4\u00e4ryhm\u00e4\u00e4n Peurunkaan tulon p\u00e4\u00e4syiden mukaisesti; 1) kuntoutusasiakkaat, 2) liikunta- ja vapaa-ajanmatkailijat sek\u00e4 3) ty\u00f6hyvinvointimatkailijat. Kuntoutusasiakkaita oli vastanneista yhteens\u00e4 313, joista kahdelle toteutettiin teemahaastattelu.\r\n\r\nTulosten perusteella voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 Kylpyl\u00e4hotelli ja kuntoutus Peurungassa k\u00e4yvien kuntoutusasiakkaiden omanlainen asiakasprofiili nousi selke\u00e4sti esille. Keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin kuntoutujat olivat i\u00e4kk\u00e4\u00e4mpi\u00e4 kuin muut asiakkaat, omasivat heikomman koetun terveyden ja toimintakyvyn sek\u00e4 alhaisemman koulutustason. Heid\u00e4n tulotasonsa oli my\u00f6s merkitsev\u00e4sti matalampi kuin muilla asiakkailla. Kuntoutusasiakkaat tulivat Peurunkaan p\u00e4\u00e4s\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00f6isesti laadukkaiden kuntoutus- ja liikuntapalveluiden houkuttelemina sek\u00e4 Peurungan maineen ja puhtaan luonnon per\u00e4ss\u00e4. \r\n\r\nKuntoutusasiakkaat olivat tutkimuksen mukaan eritt\u00e4in tyytyv\u00e4isi\u00e4 saamaansa kuntoutukseen (89%), sek\u00e4 kuntoutushenkil\u00f6kuntaan ja sen ammattitaitoon; kuntoutujista 88% oli sit\u00e4 mielt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 henkil\u00f6kunta osasi laatia yhdess\u00e4 asiakkaan kanssa kuntoutuksen tavoitteet, 91% mukaan kuntoutushenkil\u00f6kunta kertoi ymm\u00e4rrett\u00e4v\u00e4sti kuntoutuksen vaikutuksista, 93% mielest\u00e4 he kuuntelivat mit\u00e4 asiakkaalla oli sanottavana. Kuntoutujista 86% oli sit\u00e4 mielt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 henkil\u00f6kunta osasi perustella k\u00e4ytetyt menetelm\u00e4t, joiden avulla tavoitteisiin pyrittiin ja 87% oli samaa mielt\u00e4 siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 henkil\u00f6kunta paneutui riitt\u00e4v\u00e4n hyvin ongelmiin. \r\n\r\nPeurungan palvelut koki hy\u00f6dylliseksi hyvinvointinsa kannalta 95% kuntoutujista. Asteikolla 0-10 yleisarvosanaksi vierailulleen he antoivat 7.92 (ka 7.98). Aging of the population, outsourcing of services and deterioration of rehabilitation centers will change how the rehabilitation is arranged and organized in future. Customer profile of the rehabilitation centers has not been studied earlier and it is also important to study their thoughts and evaluation of the services and their quality.\r\n\r\nThe aim of my Master\u2019s thesis was to find out and describe the customer profile of the rehabilitation customers in the Rehabilitation Centre and Spa Hotel Peurunka and their evaluation of the services. The study was executed as a case study with interviews in Rehabilitation Centre and Spa Hotel Peurunka 28.02.2011 - 31.3.2012. Total of 755 answers were received by using a temporal sampling of the yearly customers of Peurunka. Based on the results, customers were divided to three basic segments according to their main reasons for the travel; 1) Rehabilitation, 2) Sport and leisure and 3) Well-being and ability maintenance at work. Rehabilitation customers were the biggest group (N=313) and two of them answered to theme interview.\r\n\r\nCase study shows that rehabilitation customers had a unique profile in Rehabilitation Centre and Spa Hotel Peurunka. Their average age was higher, they had lower health condition and functionality and they also had significant lower educational level then other customers. In addition their income levels were lower then other customers. Rehabilitation customers came to Peurunka after high class rehabilitation and sport services and because of the good reputation and pure nature. \r\n\r\nRehabilitation customers were very pleased with their rehabilitation (89%), and also with the rehabilitation staff and their expertise; 88% thought that the staff made goals for the rehabilitation together with the customers, 91% said that the staff told clearly about the impacts of rehabilitation and 93% thought that they listened what the customers wanted to tell them. 86% of the rehabilitation customers agreed that the staff knew how to explain the methods which were used to achieve goals and 87% thought that the staff had adequate focus to their problems. \r\n\r\n95% of the rehabilitation customers felt that the services in Peurunka were beneficial for their wellbeing. With a scale of 0-10 the general rating of the visit were 7.92 (avg 7.98). Many of them criticized the closed spa and its unfinished renovation in an open question.
