Tutkimuksessa kuvataan ty\u00f6terveyshoitajien t\u00e4ydennyskoulutuksiin osallistumista ja koulutusten sovellettavuutta ty\u00f6ik\u00e4isten terveydenedist\u00e4misty\u00f6ss\u00e4 l\u00e4hiesimiesten n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta sek\u00e4 kartoitetaan my\u00f6s t\u00e4ydennyskoulutuksiin hakeutumiseen ja ohjaukseen liittyv\u00e4\u00e4 prosessia.\r\nTutkimusaineisto on koottu Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy:n ty\u00f6terveyshoitajien l\u00e4hiesimiesten (n=8) teemahaastatteluna. Aineistonkeruu toteutettiin syksyn 2012 aikana. Aineisto analysoitiin sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysill\u00e4.\r\nTutkimuksessa todettiin osaamisen arvioinnin tapahtuvan Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy:ss\u00e4 ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4n itsearviointina, esimiehen tekem\u00e4n\u00e4 arviointina sek\u00e4 asiakasyritysten antaman palautteen kautta. Yrityksen sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 j\u00e4rjestet\u00e4\u00e4n paljon erilaista koulutusta ja tarvittaessa voidaan my\u00f6s hakeutua yrityksen ulkopuolella j\u00e4rjestett\u00e4v\u00e4\u00e4n koulutukseen. Ohjautuminen tapahtuu itsen\u00e4isesti, osana perehdytysprosessia tai yrityksen toiminnan muutosten edellytt\u00e4min\u00e4. Tutkimuksen mukaan t\u00e4ydennyskoulutusta on runsaasti tarjolla, mutta siin\u00e4 tulisi huomioida vaihteleva t\u00e4ydennyskoulutustarve ty\u00f6uran eri vaiheissa sek\u00e4 laatutaso. Koulutusmenetelmiin, -sis\u00e4lt\u00f6ihin ja \u2013k\u00e4yt\u00e4nt\u00f6ihin liittyen esitettiin kehitt\u00e4misehdotuksia. T\u00e4ydennyskoulutusten todettiin lis\u00e4\u00e4v\u00e4n osaamista ja ty\u00f6ss\u00e4viihtymist\u00e4 sek\u00e4 teht\u00e4v\u00e4n ty\u00f6n laatua.\r\nJohtop\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksin\u00e4 voidaan todeta, ett\u00e4 t\u00e4ydennyskoulutuksiin ohjautumisprosessi Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy:ss\u00e4 on selke\u00e4 ja tarkoituksenmukainen. Ty\u00f6terveyshoitajille suunnatun t\u00e4ydennyskoulutuksen tarjonnassa tulisi entist\u00e4 paremmin huomioida koulutustarve ty\u00f6uran eri vaiheissa sek\u00e4 asiakasyritysten ajankohtaiset tarpeet. Ty\u00f6ik\u00e4isen v\u00e4est\u00f6n terveyden edist\u00e4minen onnistuminen edellytt\u00e4\u00e4 jatkuvaa tietojen p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4mist\u00e4 ja uuden tiedon hankkimista. T\u00e4ydennyskoulutuksista hy\u00f6tyv\u00e4t yksitt\u00e4iset ty\u00f6ntekij\u00e4t, ty\u00f6terveyshuollon asiakkaat sek\u00e4 koko ty\u00f6yhteis\u00f6. In this study occupational health nurse\u00b4s participation in continuing education is being described and also how their superiors see the applicability of this kind of education to health promotion of working-age population.\r\nThis survey was conducted as a theme interview for superiors of occupational health nurses (n=8). This was done during fall 2012. Material was analyzed by using content analysis.\r\nThe study showed that competence assessment is carried out at Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy as employee\u00b4s self-evaluation, manager\u00b4s assessment and by the given feedback from the client companies. A lot of continuing education is being organized internally and if necessary it is also possible to attend to education given outside the company. Participating in further training takes place independently, as a part of the induction or because of the changes in the company\u00b4s practices. According to the study continuing education is being offered in plenty, but the need of continuing education at different career stages and also the level of quality of the education offered should be taken more into consideration. Superiors who attended the study submitted development proposals related to training methods, contents and policies. Continuing education was found to increase skills, job satisfaction and quality of work.\r\nBased on the results it can be stated that the process concerning continuing education in Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy is unambiguous and appropriate. The educational needs of occupational health nurses in different career stages and also the current needs of client companies should be taken more into consideration. Employees, customers of occupational health care and the whole workplace will benefit of continuing training.
