Tutkimuksen kohteena on suomalainen julkinen organisaatio, joka edustaa oman alansa huippuosaamista Suomessa. Tutkimuksen kohteena oleva organisaatio ei halua nime\u00e4\u00e4n julki t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkielmassa, joten siit\u00e4 k\u00e4ytet\u00e4\u00e4n t\u00e4ss\u00e4 keksitty\u00e4 nime\u00e4 Organisaatio Oiva tai Oiva.\r\n\r\nTutkimuskysymykseni on kuinka esimiehen ja asiantuntijan ura-ankkurit sek\u00e4 -roolit vaikuttavat asiantuntijaorganisaatiossa ty\u00f6skentelev\u00e4n esimiehen uratyytyv\u00e4isyyteen. Tutkimusaineisto koostuu 11 esimiehen haastattelusta, jotka tehtiin vuonna 2010 Organisaatio Oivan esimiehille tarkoitetun uravalmennuksen yhteydess\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi aineisto k\u00e4sitt\u00e4\u00e4 n\u00e4iden esimiesten ty\u00f6tyytyv\u00e4isyyteen liittyv\u00e4n kyselyn tulokset. Tutkimusmetodi on p\u00e4\u00e4asiallisesti laadullinen, ja aihetta l\u00e4hestyt\u00e4\u00e4n tapaustutkimuksen keinoin.\r\n\r\nTutkielmani teoreettinen viitekehys perustuu kolmenlaiselle teoreettiselle pohjalle. Ensinn\u00e4 tarkastelen aihetta Edgar Scheinin tutkimuksille perustuvan ura-ankkuriteorian kautta. L\u00e4hestyn ura-ankkuriteoriaa Scheinin tutkimusten sek\u00e4 niit\u00e4 t\u00e4ydent\u00e4vien uudempien tutkimusten pohjalta. Toiseksi tarkastelen aihetta uraidentiteettiteorioiden n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta. Kolmanneksi tutkin aihetta urarooliteorioiden kautta. T\u00e4m\u00e4 teoreettinen viitekehys auttaa hahmottamaan yksil\u00f6n motivaatiota m\u00e4\u00e4ritt\u00e4vi\u00e4 tekij\u00f6it\u00e4 (ura-ankkurit), uraidentiteetti\u00e4 sek\u00e4 -roolia suhteessa yksil\u00f6n nykyisiin ty\u00f6teht\u00e4viin ja siihenastiseen uraan. N\u00e4ist\u00e4 n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmista voidaan analysoida syy- ja seuraussuhteita koskien yksil\u00f6n uratyytyv\u00e4isyytt\u00e4.\r\n\r\nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkielman tulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 Organisaatio Oivassa ura-ankkurilla n\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 olevan oleellinen rooli yksil\u00f6n uratyytyv\u00e4isyyden suhteen. Jos yksil\u00f6n ura-ankkuri vastaa h\u00e4nen nykyist\u00e4 urarooliaan, on yksil\u00f6 keskim\u00e4\u00e4rin tyytyv\u00e4isempi ty\u00f6h\u00f6ns\u00e4.
