Lis\u00e4ksi ammattiaseman yhteys moniin ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymysten liit\u00e4nn\u00e4isilmi\u00f6ihin her\u00e4tt\u00e4\u00e4 kysymyksi\u00e4 ammattiaseman mahdollisesta roolista. \nT\u00e4m\u00e4n tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, ovatko ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymykset (toimeentulo, vakaus, uramenestys, arvostus, kyvykkyys, itsen\u00e4isyys, aitous, itsens\u00e4 kehitt\u00e4minen, yhteenkuuluvuus, my\u00f6t\u00e4vaikuttaminen, laaja-alainen hyv\u00e4n tekeminen, arkinen hyv\u00e4n tekeminen) yhteydess\u00e4 ty\u00f6kriittisyyteen. Lis\u00e4ksi tavoitteena oli selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, muuntaako ammattiasema ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymysten ja ty\u00f6kriittisyyden v\u00e4list\u00e4 yhteytt\u00e4. My\u00f6s sukupuolen, i\u00e4n ja taloudellisen tilanteen vaikutusta kontrolloitiin. T\u00e4m\u00e4 tutkimus oli osa MEANWELL: Merkityksellisest\u00e4 ty\u00f6st\u00e4 hyvinvointia organisaatioihin -hanketta. Ty\u00f6kriittisyytt\u00e4 mitattiin suomalaiseen v\u00e4est\u00f6\u00f6n validoidulla ja suomennetulla mittaristolla, joka pohjautuu r/antiwork-nimisen Reddit-internetkeskustelufoorumin pohjalta kehitettyyn mittariin. Ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymyksi\u00e4 mitattiin ty\u00f6n merkitysten ja t\u00e4yttymysten (TMT) -mittarilla. Tutkimuksemme osallistujat olivat monilta eri toimialoilta ja eri ammattiasemista, mutta naiset ja korkeasti koulutetut olivat yliedustettuna. \nHierarkkisen lineaarisen regressioanalyysin tulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 kaikki 12 ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymysten alaosa-aluetta selittiv\u00e4t ty\u00f6kriittisyytt\u00e4 siten, ett\u00e4 v\u00e4h\u00e4isempi\u00e4 ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymyksi\u00e4 kokeneet olivat ty\u00f6kriittisempi\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi ammattiasema muunsi yhteytt\u00e4 kahden ty\u00f6n t\u00e4yttymyksen kohdalla siten, ett\u00e4 matala itsen\u00e4isyyden tai my\u00f6t\u00e4vaikuttamisen kokemus liittyi ty\u00f6kriittisyyteen enemm\u00e4n korkeassa, kuin matalassa ammattiasemassa. Many recurring themes in anti-work discussions as well as the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the rise of such discussions imply a potential link between AWO and vocational fulfillment (VF), which describes how well an individual\u2019s expectations for their working life are being fulfilled by their current employment. Additionally, relationships between occupational status (OS) and many factors closely related to VF raise the question of whether OS could also play a role in AWO and its potential link to VF. \nThe aim of this thesis was to examine the potential link between AWO and VF (subsistence, stability, career success, recognition, capability, agency, authenticity, self-development, belongingness, contributing to belongingness, contributing to a higher purpose, doing good for others) and furthermore whether OS would transform that relationship. Gender, age and financial situation were controlled. This study was a part of the MEANWELL: Meaningful work as a source of well-being project. The measure used for AWO originates from the r/antiwork Reddit community but has been validated and translated to fit the Finnish context. VF was measured with the Vocational Meaning and Vocational Fulfillment Survey (VMF). The participants were from a range of different industries and occupational statuses, though women and those with higher education were over-represented. \nHierarchical linear regression analysis showed all 12 subsets of VF to account for AWO in that lower VF predicted higher AWO. Additionally, OS transformed that relationship for two subsets of VF in that lower agency or contributing to belongingness predicted AWO more robustly for those with high OS when compared to those with low OS. The most significant predictors for AWO were, however, age and economic situation which were included as control variables.
