Impulsiivisuus miellet\u00e4\u00e4n yleisesti ADHD:n oireiden ilmentym\u00e4ksi, jota pidet\u00e4\u00e4n usein kielteisen\u00e4 ja hillitsemist\u00e4 vaativana piirteen\u00e4. T\u00e4ss\u00e4 tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan, miten impulsiivisuus voi n\u00e4ytt\u00e4yty\u00e4 my\u00f6nteisesti opettajien kokemuksissa. Tutkimus keskittyy yksil\u00f6llisiin, elettyihin kokemuksiin ja siihen, miten opettajat itse kokevat impulsiivisuuden osana ammatillista toimintaansa. Tutkimusaineisto koostuu yhdest\u00e4toista (n=11) ADHD-diagnoosin saaneen luokanopettajan vastauksesta, jotka ker\u00e4ttiin s\u00e4hk\u00f6isen Webropol kyselylomakkeen avulla. Tutkimus toteutettiin laadullisena tutkimuksena, fenomenologishermeneuttista l\u00e4hestymistapaa hy\u00f6dynt\u00e4en. Aineiston analyysiss\u00e4 hy\u00f6dynnettiin IPA-analyysimenetelm\u00e4\u00e4 (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis), jonka avulla vastaajien omakohtaisia kokemuksia ja niihin liitt\u00e4mi\u00e4 merkityksi\u00e4 analysoitiin. Tutkimuksessa ilmeni, ett\u00e4 impulsiivisuus sai opettajien kokemuksissa moninaisia, p\u00e4\u00e4osin my\u00f6nteisi\u00e4 merkityksi\u00e4. Impulsiivisuuden koettiin n\u00e4ytt\u00e4ytyv\u00e4n opettajien pedagogisissa ratkaisuissa, tunneilmaisuissa ja tilannesidonnaisena toimijuutena. Impulsivity is commonly perceived as a symptom of ADHD, often regarded as a negative trait that requires control. This study explores how impulsivity can also be experienced in a positive light by teachers. The focus is on individual, lived experiences and how teachers themselves perceive impulsivity as a part of their professional practice. The research data consists of responses from eleven (n=11) primary school teachers diagnosed with ADHD, collected through an electronic Webropol questionnaire. The study was conducted as qualitative research using a phenomenological-hermeneutic approach. The data were analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), which enabled an in-depth examination of the participants\u2019 personal experiences and the meanings they attached to them. The study found that impulsivity was associated with various, mostly positive meanings in the teachers' experiences. Impulsivity was perceived as manifesting in pedagogical decisions, emotional expression, and situational agency. Although some teachers did not directly associate their described positive experiences with their ADHD diagnosis or impulsivity, most considered them meaningful aspects of their professionalism.
