Sen tarpeeseen vaikuttavat yksil\u00f6\u00f6n ja ymp\u00e4rist\u00f6\u00f6n, kehon rakenteisiin ja toimintoihin sek\u00e4 suorituksiin liittyv\u00e4t tekij\u00e4t. T\u00e4m\u00e4n vuoksi kuntoutuksen tulee vastata lapsen ja nuoren tarpeisiin monialaisesti eri n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmia yhdist\u00e4en. T\u00e4m\u00e4n pro gradu -tutkielman tavoitteena oli kuvata lasten ja nuorten kuntoutuksen asiantuntijoiden kollektiivisia k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 lasten ja nuorten monialaisessa kuntoutuksessa tarvittavasta osaamisesta. \n \nAineisto hankittiin kahden fokusryhm\u00e4haastattelun kautta helmikuussa 2024. Haastateltavat (n=10) edustivat laaja-alaisesti lasten kuntoutuksen asiantuntijuutta kasvatuksen, kuntoutusty\u00f6n, kuntoutussuunnittelun, kuntoutuksen johtamisen, koulutuksen ja tutkimuksen saralta. Aineisto analysoitiin fenomenografisella analyysimetodilla. Analyysin tuloksena lasten ja nuorten kuntoutuksen asiantuntijoiden k\u00e4sitykset lasten monialaisessa kuntoutuksessa tarvittavasta osaamisesta jakaantuivat nelj\u00e4\u00e4n hierarkkisesti laajenevaan kuvauskategoriaan, jotka varioivat nelj\u00e4ss\u00e4 teemassa. \n\nLasten ja nuorten kuntoutuksen asiantuntijat merkityksellistiv\u00e4t lasten monialaisessa kuntoutuksessa tarvittavaa osaamista eettisen\u00e4 asiantuntijuutena, yhdyspinnalla rinnakkain ty\u00f6skentelyn\u00e4, yhdyspintoja ylitt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 yhteistoimijuutena ja kuntoutuksen kehitt\u00e4misen\u00e4. Kuvauskategoriat varioivat teemoissa 1) lapsi- ja perhel\u00e4ht\u00f6isyys, 2) vuorovaikutus- ja kohtaamistaidot, 3) verkosto- ja yhteisty\u00f6taidot sek\u00e4 4) itsetuntemus ja tunnetaidot. Kuvauskategorioiden laajentumisen nostamat kriittiset aspektit olivat kuntoutusmy\u00f6nteisen ilmapiirin luominen, monin\u00e4k\u00f6kulmaisuuden tarpeen tunnistaminen, itsens\u00e4 tunteva asiantuntija, lapsen kuntoutumiselle my\u00f6nteisten olosuhteiden luominen, yhteistoimijuuden rakentaminen, mentalisaatiokykyinen asiantuntija sek\u00e4 kriittinen, uudistava ja holistinen asiantuntijuus. \n\nTutkielman tulokset auttavat lis\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n ymm\u00e4rryst\u00e4 siit\u00e4, millaista monialaista osaamista lasten ja nuorten monialaisessa kuntoutuksessa tarvitaan lasten kuntoutuksen asiantuntijoiden k\u00e4sitt\u00e4m\u00e4n\u00e4. Tulokset vahvistavat aiempaa tutkimusta aiheesta, mutta korostavat lis\u00e4ksi lasten kuntoutuksen asiantuntijoiden k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 ammattilaisten omien asenteiden ja eettisyyden merkityksest\u00e4 lasten kuntoutuksessa tarvittavassa osaamisessa. Its needs are influenced by factors related to the individual and the environment, body structures and functions, and performance. Therefore, rehabilitation must meet the needs of children and adolescents in a multidisciplinary manner, combining different perspectives. The aim of this master's thesis was to describe the collective perceptions of experts in the rehabilitation of children and adolescents about what kind of competence is needed in the multidisciplinary rehabilitation of children and adolescents.\n\nThe data was obtained through two focus group interviews in February 2024. The interviewees (n=10) represented a broad range of expertise in child rehabilitation from the fields of education, rehabilitation work, training, and research. The data was analyzed using a phenomenographic analysis method. As a result of the analysis, the perceptions of child and youth rehabilitation experts about the competence needed in multidisciplinary rehabilitation of children were divided into four hierarchically expanding descriptive categories, which varied in four themes.\n\nThe experts in child and adolescent rehabilitation understood the competence needed in multidisciplinary rehabilitation of children as ethical expertise, working in parallel at the interface, collaboration across interfaces, and development of rehabilitation. The descriptive categories varied in the themes: 1) child and family orientation, 2) interaction and encounter skills, 3) network and cooperation skills, and 4) self-awareness and emotional skills. The critical aspects raised by the expansion of the descriptive categories were creating a rehabilitation-friendly atmosphere, recognizing the need for multi-perspectives, an expert who knows himself, creating positive conditions for the child's rehabilitation, building collaboration, and an expert capable of mentalization and critical, innovative, and holistic expertise. \n\nThe results of the study help to increase the understanding of what kind of multidisciplinary competence is needed in the multidisciplinary rehabilitation of children and adolescents, as understood by the experts in children\u2019s rehabilitation. The results confirm previous research on the subject but also emphasize the importance of the attitudes and ethics of professionals in the competence needed in the rehabilitation of children, as the experts understand. The results also show that the multidisciplinary competence needed in rehabilitating children and adolescents, as understood by the experts, does not arise automatically, but rather require active and conscious action by professionals.
