Tavoitteena on tarkastella erityisopettajien ja rehtoreiden n\u00e4kemyksi\u00e4 kolmiportaisen tuen keskeisist\u00e4 vahvuuksista sek\u00e4 haasteista. Toiseksi tavoitteena on selvitt\u00e4\u00e4, millaisena erityisopettajat ja rehtorit n\u00e4kev\u00e4t oppimisen tuen tulevaisuuden perusopetuslakiuudistuksen my\u00f6t\u00e4 oman ty\u00f6nkuvansa ja tuen toteuttamisen n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta.\nTutkimusaineisto koostuu kolmen erityisopettajan ja kahden rehtorin haastatteluista. Haastattelut toteutettiin puolistrukturoituina teemahaastatteluina talven 2024\u20132025 aikana. Aineisto analysoitiin refleksiivisell\u00e4 temaattisella analyysilla. N\u00e4it\u00e4 aineistosta saatuja tuloksia peilattiin aiempiin tutkimuksiin.\nTutkimuksen tulokset osoittivat, ett\u00e4 kolmiportaisen tuen j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4 sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 sek\u00e4 heikkouksia ett\u00e4 vahvuuksia. Oppimisen tuen uudistaminen koettiin tarpeelliseksi, mutta se her\u00e4tti my\u00f6s huolta tulevaisuudesta. Uudistuksen suunta n\u00e4htiin oikeana, mutta sen todettiin muuttavan huomattavasti oppimisen tuen j\u00e4rjest\u00e4mist\u00e4 ja toteuttamista. Mahdollisen perusopetuslakiuudistuksen koettiin muuttavan erityisesti erityisopettajan ty\u00f6nkuvaa sek\u00e4 tuen toteuttamisen periaatteita.\nTutkimuksen tulokset tukevat aiempaa tutkimustietoa kolmiportaiseen tukeen sek\u00e4 vastaavien uudistusten toimeenpanoon liittyen. Tulokset vahvistavat n\u00e4kemyst\u00e4 siit\u00e4, ett\u00e4 oppimisen tuen j\u00e4rjestelm\u00e4\u00e4 tulee uudistaa.
