Tämä tutkielma tarkastelee koneoppimisen hyödyntämistä autonomisissa autoissa, keskittyen päätöksentekoon. Tutkielma käy läpi minkälaista sensoritekniikkaa ajoneuvot sisältävät, miten sensoreiden dataa käsitellään sekä miten koneoppimista hyödynnetään datan käsittelyyn ja päätöksentekoon. Autonomous vehicles are becoming increasingly common, and their technology is developing rapidly. Complex situations and the need for fast data processing require efficient models. Machine learning allows the use of effective and better models. This thesis views the use of machine learning in autonomous vehicles, focusing on decision-making models. The thesis covers the types of sensor technology used in these vehicles, how the data is processed, and how machine learning is used in data processing and decision-making.
