Additionally, it examined the factors that support and hinder the implementation of physical education in coaching, as well as other factors besides the Football Association's training that support the development of coaching skills.\n\nThe study was conducted as quantitative research using a Webropol questionnaire. The study consisted of statements that respondents had to answer. The study also included two open-ended questions about perceptions of physical education and coaching skills. The obtained data were analyzed using Webropol and SPSS programs. Qualitative responses were analyzed using data-driven content analysis.\n\nAccording to the coaches' perceptions, they supported players in learning an active lifestyle, but they did not feel that supporting parents in encouraging players' daily physical activity was part of their role. Educating through physical activity was well implemented; however, guiding emotional skills requires development. Factors supporting physical education included coaching-supportive practices, the creation of educational principles, the coach's pedagogical skills, reflection on one's own actions, and the coach's active lifestyle. Challenges to physical education included insufficient resources and a lack of appreciation, skills, and support for physical education. According to the coaches' perceptions, the Football Association's training supports the development of the coach's psychosocial coaching skills. An area for development is involving players in setting, monitoring, and evaluating team goals in an age-appropriate manner. In addition to the Football Association's training, the development of coaching skills is supported by a learning community, other coaching training, pedagogical training, and experience gained from raising one's own children and working in the field of education.\n\nIn conclusion, it can be stated that according to the coaches' perceptions, they supported players in growing into physical activity and educating through physical activity, and the Football Association's training supported the development of the coach's psychosocial coaching skills. Laadullisia vastauksia analysoitiin aineistol\u00e4ht\u00f6isell\u00e4 sis\u00e4ll\u00f6nanalyysill\u00e4.\n\nValmentajien k\u00e4sitysten mukaan he tukivat pelaajia liikunnallisen el\u00e4m\u00e4ntavan oppimisessa, mutta valmentajat eiv\u00e4t kokeneet oman roolinsa kuuluvaksi vanhempien tukemista pelaajien arkiliikuntaan aktivoimisessa. Liikunnan avulla kasvattaminen toteutui hyvin, kuitenkin tunnetaitojen ohjaaminen vaatii kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4. Liikuntakasvatusta tukevia asioita olivat valmennusta tukevat toimintatavat, kasvatuksellisten periaatteiden luominen, valmentajan pedagoginen osaaminen, oman toiminnan reflektointi sek\u00e4 valmentajan liikunnallinen el\u00e4m\u00e4ntapa. Liikuntakasvatusta vaikeuttavia asioita olivat riitt\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6m\u00e4t resurssit sek\u00e4 liikuntakasvatuksen arvostamisen, osaamisen ja tuen puute. Valmentajien k\u00e4sitysten mukaan Palloliiton koulutus tukee valmentajan psykososiaalisen valmennusosaamisen kehitt\u00e4mist\u00e4. Kehitt\u00e4misen kohteeksi nousee pelaajien ottaminen mukaan joukkueen tavoitteenasetteluun, seurantaan ja arviointiin ik\u00e4vaiheeseen sopivalla tavalla.
